@MichaelSar12IsBack ...If the costumes are creepy looking nowadays, well they werent back then. Its funny how people suspect debauchery in earlier kids shows when the ones today are edgier and more disgusting.
I guess we can thank Clare Milne--CR's disabled daughter--for returning Pooh back to his roots by suing Disney for breach of contract (since her family only gave the company rights to produce shows if they follow the Milne model, but the 2010 detective series with Darby changed the format when it got rid of Owl & Gopher and had Darby seemingly take Christopher Robin's place), which lead to the 2011 film.
101Anakin1: Gopher wasn't in this show from the 80s either. He was only in the Many Adventures film (comprised of the first three shorts from the 70s) & the New Adventures cartoon of the late 80s-mid 90s (it was shown on continuous loop on ABC & Disney until the Z00G era started, which was when it moved to the fledging Toon Disney, but once My Friends Tigger & Pooh [the detective show with Darby] began, all previous Pooh series were shelved). Luckily the 2011 film returned things back to normal.
as far as I know , this and veoh is the only places online where you can find shows of welcome to pooh corner, I tryed searching google , but not yet yahoo but I get the feeling that youtube is the last place in the world where you can watch welcome to pooh corner, and Dumbo's Circus , which you can't see either of them on TV anymore
the same goes for anything with mickey mouse and his group , no of the old cartoons show up either, its been a few years since any of the welcome to pooh corner has been showen on tv, and I used to own a few on VCR too, but my dad got ride of the tapes of them record a few years back
you have a audio problem with headphones you can hear, that the audio is not stereo but mono, your losing a speaker you only hear the left speaker, and not the right one, also I was wondering if you guys uploading any more of the old welcome to pooh corner, since Disney does not even seem to show any of the Winnie the pooh shows anymore on tv, nor can you buy them online anywhere, for a good price. We have direct TV and you search anything with pooh in it, you find nothing, none show up
This is MAJORLY bizarre. It doesn't really feel like Winnie the Pooh. Probably because this doesn't have the best voices for the characters. Cute but really weird.
@Nilanna: Watch A Day For Eeyore. That animated short aired after the original three (Honey Tree, Blustery Day, & Tigger Too, which all make up the Many Adventures film) & this show tries its best to sound similar to it, since both that short & this TV series aired in the 80s, with Hal Smith as Pooh before Jim Cummings took the role in the New Adventures cartoon.
@Nilanna: Another plus is that the Sherman Bros. wrote the songs for this show! Furthermore, Laurie Maine was the one to first to be Mr. Narrator after Sabastian Cabot passed away. Besides doing this 80s show about Pooh & friends, Maine narrated the 90s re-release of the Pooh Read-Along stories during the popularity of the New Adventures cartoon. However, Jim Cummings recently took over as narrator in both The Book of Pooh & in most recent Pooh films until John Cheese did it in the 2011 film.
I was just showing this and Dumbo's Circus to my 6 1/2 yo nephew. He said that it's for babies!! Kids nowadays don't know what they are missing. I loved these shows and still do at 26. They need to put them on DVD so they can live on for other generations!
I just LOVE this. and Dumbo's Circus. I miss these shows....ALL the shows from the late 80's and 90's. They were so much Better than the CRAP they have nowadays
It's just so Nice!! Nothing else like these old shows today. Niceness is being killed off in the world today.

I remember when they showed us this show in elementary school. I loved Pooh but the costumes just creeped me out as a kid.

I never saw this show (it probably went off the air before I was 3). It's a bit odd, but I respect other peoples' opinions on it.
I remember seeing that "Bus Saftey" video in first grade (I think).

Heck, it reminds me of "The Book of Pooh".
