  • Chicken Hurry :)

  • Guys, it really doesn't matter when you add your chicken, just as long as the chicken is boneless and skinless and you cook your chicken for at least ten minutes so when you cut a piece in half, it's white on the inside.

  • 3 am and now I feel like chicken curry!!!

  • Are you sure that's tomato puree. It looks more like tomato paste. Can coconut milk be added to the spices instead of oil?

  • British video/tv editing is very obnoxious. I'm not interested in such a close up of the lady's face! Nice recipe however.

  • no SALT?????

  • hi manju, i follow your show.... i cook your food,..... most importantly i find a certain 'company' while i watch your show.........i am a big fan of your 'accent' as well......and i find you hotter than kylie kwong and nigella lawson.

my personal fav is the self contained Irish stew of yours.......

  • Thanks for uploading this even i cooked it and everyone loved it

  • can u do this video again in just a bra

  • Man u cant trust these English-Indian bitches to cook you damn Curry Chicken man.. U need a Real Caribbean Indian "cooli" or a Indian from India... or A REAL Jamaican to Cook this for you... this broad dont know what the hell she doin.

Anybody that calls Curry Chicken .. "Chicken Curry" should not be near a packet or curry or a damn Chicken... Im Jamaican I should know.

  • @Macmittens411 why do you need to call her a bitch? i think you couldve explained yourself without trying to put her down. its so unnecessary. she is doing something so innocent as showing people how to cook. it's not politics, she's not trying to offend anyone and yet here you are trying to put her down. please calm down.

  • @mamohato I could say whatever I want, I dont know her and you dont either. And she doesnt give a fuck. (:

  • @Macmittens411 Actually I do. Don't be rude....

  • @udupirajkumar okay Whorehey. isnt that how u pronounce it. Oh Im Jamaican. but whatever. Ure words cant affect me because that shit means nothing were I come from its quite comical. I didnt call you a beaner or spic. But Would it really matter? Ure like a nobody. U would kill somebody over a recipe u fuckin Idiot? LMAO!! ha!

  • @Macmittens411 YO MAN IM SORRY.WHAT I SAID WAS WRONG AND HATEFUL .MY BAD. I JUST GOT UPSET WHEN U USED THE WORD COOLIE. INDIANS DONT LIKE THT WORD. ITS LIKE WHEN PEOPLE CALL U GUYS NIGGERS . YOU DON'T LIKE IT DO U? ITS THE SAME FOR us. BUT THATS NO EXCUSE FOR ME TO BRING IN THT KKK SHIT. ONCE AGAIN I APOLOGIZE .

  • @udupirajkumar well sometimes I say some crazy shit on here, but I know were to draw the line. Usually in Jamaica they would call someoe\ne a coolie because they think of the people as having good hair. So it was in a good way.

  • Can you say Oven bake a Curry, like a stew? Looks great tho...

  • Good recipe..thank you! You can add more chilli powder etc to suit your tastes if u want.

  • ive seen alot people use coconut milk instead of water can you do this

  • @libertineoverdose89 Curry paste, chicken and coconut milk is really nice as well. It's not as Indian as this dish - more Thai I guess. Add some water chestnuts and bamboo shoots if you want to treat ya self.

  • will u marry me

  • Great Job Manju! I love your professional broadcasting voice. You come across as a very self-assured and pleasing person. It makes watching your show even more enjoyable. Keep up the good work.

  • made this recipe and it was really good. it's not strong and bold like an authentic Indian meal - it's much "prettier" than that. loads of exotic flavors and not too strong. a very good introduction for your friends and family that have never eaten Indian before.

i would definitely cook the chicken in the curry for more flavor in the chicken and the curry.

if you need it hotter, increase the chili pepper.

  • sorry but this is not a very good way to make a curry and you definitely need to spend more then a couple of minutes making it.

  • I tried it last night and it was quick and awesome. Can you post some more recipes.

  • looks good but theres no mention of the amounts of spices used.....1 tablespooon 2? should i guess? lol

  • Nick, she listed the measurements on the right side. :)

  • its a really crap recipe ive tried others that came out superb the golden rule is cook your meat with the curry paste she doesnt do this in this recipe so it turns out rather bland etc

  • thank you, i made this and it is an awesome quick dish. taste even better the second night once all the spices have "Soaked" in. thank you again manju.

  • please do your version of onion bhaji

  • tried it last night came out great thanx

  • Nice recipe, I often make my own but let it simmer for 3 hours.

What is the point of Garam Masala powder? It seems rather sweet to me, I still use it in my recipes though! lol

What sort of beef goes well with a beef curry? I'm not sure whether to use stewing beef

  • cute chef !

  • quick chicken curry was tasteless - is she a chef!!!!

  • but chopped onions would be better than slice. unless you keep chicken pieces bigger than onions.

    but thats good curry.

  • oh thats nice one.

  • Hi neetu,

Put the garlic with the onions, or just before adding the chickenpieces

    Thanks,

    Manj

  • what can u use instead of grated ginger?

  • looks great! one question are the messurements tablespoons or teaspoons :P

  • nice 1 manju

  • This is brill can't believe how easy this is and tastes superb too. Made it a few times and saved a fortrune on ordering a curry in. All done from start to finish in about 25 mins.

  • thank you,

  • awesome, love you Manju!

  • lol, I love how pure her English is, my mother is the same way, but she was raised in Australia.

Great recipe though, I didn't know how to add curry to a dish, but it seems like you need to add some liquid first to it to make the powder into a paste. Thanks for the tips!

  • Just use Garam Marsala and use the amount of spices to your own taste. Use water you can use chicken stock, add yogurt if desired. Make sure to add hot liquid to the yogurt first to temper it. I use canned dice tomatoes, theirs no one way to make a curry. So you can give and take spices as long as it has garam masala in it. curry is the name of the liquid/sauce produce from cooking it. Serve on rice with cilantro (a.k.a coriander)

  • Does that combination of spices make a Madras curry? Or does it have a different sort of flavor?

  • how much of each spice you use to make the paste?

  • All I can say is Yum!!!

  • I enjoyed watching this! However, you have not instructed us how much of each spice you use to make the paste.(tablespoon?) Also, please, what type of oil do you use?(for the curry paste)-plain, olive? Would yoghurt be better than water? Thank you.

  • Hmm cool I have a load of sausages i want to get rid off, so will use this to curry them up, wish me luck :)

  • What kind of tomato puree is that???? Please specify. Can we use fresh tomatoes?

  • Hi, It's normal tomatopuree which you buy in the shop. The brand I use in the video is Cirio but you can use any brand. You can use one tomato finely chopped instead, which you add to the pan after you have made added the spices.

  • NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
