  • Is there a more affordable PC version for screen capturing? I'm looking for that zoom-in function that allows the instructor to zoom in on a portion of the screen.

By the way, thanks for the info!

  • I have a question. I have MacBook so is there any program that I could use to ''film'' the screen or that I could get for free on the internet?

    Thank You for Your help.:)

  • I don't know of any that are free, but the one I use (iShowU) is only $20, I think. It's well worth it.

  • @IceflowStudios Very fitting to your username, I can recommend ScreenFlow. It's an awesome program. the best I ever used.

  • Camstudio is free & open source. Just google 'camstudio' it's right there.

  • I think clarity is really important, but excellent thoughts on the subject, thanks, D.

  • Hey!

i just subscribed to you~ and watched and rated your video. Hope you can do the same for me~!

    thanks very much ^_^

  • whaha

  • Lol?

  • Sherlok...

  • ...

  • it not a good idea to sit down and go free hand. You need to have notes beside you when you make your tutorials. Definitions you may forget to mention, tool sets you may forget etc. So "scripting" can be good if used in the right way BUT can make you boring if you dont watch out. i use it more for reference. I always prepare a tutorial with notes, references etc. And i usually go through it about 3 times before filming. Great Video man.

  • Good point! Definitely having notes is a good thing, as long as you don't read word for word off them.

  • Thank you, exactly what I wanted. :)

  • Great Help :)

  • Yup, I'm always coming back for more!

I just wanted to say thanks and great job on it all howard!

  • and.. be creative

  • This is helpful for blogs too, hun :)

  • great
