I was wondering why you had that accent! I think its pretty cool you were raised Japanese. This is further proof that your genetics have no impact on culture or how you speak (aside from speak disorders of course). It annoys me when people say things like "talking black" in America. If they were right, then despite you being raised in Japan and natively speaking Japanese, you would have a broken Japanese accent and perfect English. Obviously not the case!

I sometimes misuse words, or get confused over my thoughts when talking about very technical stuff, but I don't recall making any syntax errors after having "mastered" (Notice the quotes.) my English... it might be due to the fact that I've been speaking it since I'm 10, which makes it 9 years now.
