Irradiation is like laser treatment. If you use the right frequencies, no damage done. Laser can heal tissue and restore sight. However, if you use the wrong frequencies, you can cause damage to vitamins, proteins, among other things. Yes, "radiation" (which is the politicized way of saying "electromagnetic waves") can cause molecular damage, but if you know the right frequencies, radiation can provide health benefits.
so u think altering meat with toxins is the way to go and am uneducated u must be american lol only amercans go ahead blindfolded listin to plp who dont care about u lol
You haven't a clue what you're talking about. There's no "toxins" added in the process. I actually understand this struff. While there may be some minor breakdown of proteins, it's actually less than cooking. The ionization levels are trivial. And no, it has no effect on minerals.
@DrBuzz0 what do u call radation then its not a poison thats what ur telling me and why in canada does our association say its unheathy and wont put it on the market and the drugs u want us to say is ok and they say no do tell and why our DR say its bad do tell its just the americans who say its good and healthy do tell am not american and am not dumbed down so do tell
@lastpoet1 Radiation is not a poison, it i not a substance. it i an energy form, just like light or radio waves. exposing food to radiation does not leave it radioactive.
I have no idea what you're even saying about Canada versus the US on the issue. What association are you talking about? You're not dumbed down to hell? You could have fooled me. You can't even seem to use proper grammar.
Irradiation is not limited to the US. Canada has used food irradiation since the 1950's.
@DrBuzz0 sorry to tell u no canada hasnt i cheaked up on what ur saying and ur wrong health canada has not used irradiated meat yet and its the usa that is presuring them to do it and the studies over here in canada has shown that its not healthy and as 4 u trying to make me feel stupid about my grammar come on every1 who chats 4 real doesnt care only agents that troll 4 the goverment does and to bring this up from months ago hahaha u have to be a troll cause i had a argument today with 1 of u
@DrBuzz0 am still waiting 4 .....why does the canadain DR's and goverment say its bad and why the canadain DR association is sueing a drug company 4 trying to make our DR's push drugs that make u sicker if u try to use them in other ways then there purpose u say u have answers why did our assocation say it no its unhealthy and our DR's backed up the claims made by my goverment
Someday, I hope that fearmongers and the scientifically uneducated (they normally go hand in hand) will shut up long enough so that you can say the previously mentioned phrase and NOT have people think you must be joking.
People are so afraid of the word irradiated that they think its radioactive, people who have little understanding of how radiation works go around and screw shit up for everyone else. Like this video and many more. If i eat cancerous cells i probably won't get cancer, and if you every buy non-organic tomatoes you are eating genetically altered food, the tomatoes contain a fish gene that make them more resistant to cold
There's no evidence that food irradiation actually causes any health issues. The process has been around for decades. The chemical changes are minuscule and are generally just the breakdown of molecules that breakdown anyway from age and/or cooking.
It does, however, help to reduce bacterial growth. The other methods are heat pasteurization, ozone and gas treatment. They achieve the same end, but irradiation causes less damage.
There's no such thing as a carcinogen. There is only one cancer. Cancer cells are left-over trophoblasts. Trophoblasts are healing cells that can only be controlled with Amygdalin, a substance being cut out of our Western diets. Research vitamin B17/Amygdalin.

Irradiating food kills the vitamins and minerals.
pooper1971 3 years ago
@pooper1971
Actually the effects on vitamins are quite small, significantly less degradation than cooking and there is no reduction in minerals.
