60-70 mph Winds Slam Highland, IL - 6/21/11

@gunerr123 Sorry about that, I didn't see the whole comment. This was actually just a few miles to the south of Highland, more towards St. Jacob. 60 mph winds were reported I believe around the Highland area.

Wow! I checked the stats for this storm on Weather History, & it says the max gust speed was 81 mph!

This storm was bad. I had never been in a car during a really bad thunderstorm. It was scary. My friends live in niles and don't have power since yesterday... they said it make take from 3-5 days.

@CrAzYRiCaN1 That's a bummer. Not surprised a lot of power lines were done. At one point during that video, the winds were so strong I was being pushed. It was weird.
