  • Police cannot police themselves. There needs to be an outside agency that decides punishment and investigations. Perhaps each city should have a monitoring agency of some sort because cops protect their own (like any other industry). In the meanwhile, we can only do our part. We can write to our elected officials. We can be witnesses and we can record these events. Personally I contest every traffic ticket I've ever gotten. Just to let them work for it, and keep police on their toes.

  • good story, this lawrence o'donnel went overboard with it though

  • There's no such things as 'to serve and protect motto' any longer see if u can find it anywhere they used to have it on their cruiser door or on their badges but not any longer because they work for corporations and they must do what these corporations tell them to do, i wish we could have OUR right to bear arms, see if they would treat us the same way as they do nowadays.

  • Protest illeagal or not (i don't care). This kind of violence will bring violence. Its a matter of time before protesters use a small group to bait police and pose as bystanders or attack officers randomly.(This happened when police fought the unions.)

The police are essentially declaring war on protesters but they will be seen as at war with the ppl.

  • @trukthumper I completely agree. Militias have seen a massive increase in new recruits recently.

  • @trukthumper Yes the LAPD learned that the hard way from the Rodeny King incident and following riots. If police act this way they make it more dangerous for themselves to patrol. The protesters in Greece protest armed with sticks, rocks, and molotov cocktails. They also often wear masks and helmets. So if the police act this way in the US, it just means that protesters will become more militant and hostile.

  • the people let this happend. what is it going to take to make the people wake up???? how much more of this do we have to go through??? untill we cant speak our minds??? when they disarm us??? when we're in camps???? when are we going to reailize what we need to do??the answer is up to you. it is WE THE PEOPLE after all. we have to do it together.

  • Fuck the police.

  • you protesters need to woop some ass!

  • Thanks for the footage. News now needs to be covered by the citizens. The footage shows we are strong in numbers and the media has no desire to show the real footage. Check out Oakland P.D. arresting and drawing a taser on the crowd on Thanksgiving at freeingthemedia. The officer draws his gun at 0:01, middle left of the screen. The police used excessive force. This was a peaceful event and our voices and the cameras are our weapon. Mainstream media is controlled by the few.

  • Horrific. The police in here doing the crimes should be arrested. Some of the women are undergoing extreme sexual assault here. I am really glad that people like Bill Gates and his organization are standing out against these attrocities.

Surely decent members of the NYPD can stand up against this. I am sure that most police officers are decent. I am also sure that American police officers are as appalled by this video as I am.

  • This is pretty fucked up...wish there was a full police report available so we could get a good idea of what's going on.

  • @TheDocGino Why do we need a full police report? The video evidence is clear, is it not? The job of the police is to improve their practice as not to act in this unprofessional way.

  • @OccupyLink The eyes can deceive us. Don't trust them. I want both sides so I can make my own assessment of the situation. Whether or not you are right is not what I am saying, I just would like to get the whole picture of it, not just a bystanders camera of it.

  • @TheDocGino I agree that it is only part of the picture. Apparently one officer, the one in the pepper spray incident, was transferred to Staten Island and had a 10 day's pay penalty. It is clear that at least this was a clear breach in police discipline.

The Police are not the enemy here. The banking staff, CEOs are stuff (they are not "bankers") who get over 1 million dollars in bonuses are.

  • So appalling...

  • If you attempt to silence free speech and destroy peaceful assembly you are nothing more than a traitor. If you don't like the Constitution then GTFO!

  • @runman1271 You are a complete fool. Obama is just a puppet for the true people in power, the Federal Reserve and Private Banks. You support this same regime without even knowing by voting for anyone within the GOP except for Ron Paul. Both parties are essentially part of the same corrupt entity. If you don't think these cops were wrong then I hope you die because these people are not only completely peaceful they are speaking in the interests of 99% of the country. Wake the fuck up.

  • @runman1271 Because voting for the other retard would have changed something...? LMFAO

  • fuck this cops ! kill them

  • no reaction?
