  • What size lipo do u use and did you have to upgrade internals?

  • @sinkiller8 7.4v 800mah right now, no upgrades needed.

  • are you in the army mate?

  • @Hibrahizzle Air force.

  • @CKinnerley Oh cool, well if your ever deployed hope you get back safe, Im in the army and got the Sa80.

  • @Hibrahizzle Down the falklands right now actually, not much danger here though, heh.

  • @CKinnerley never know the argeys seem to be getting a bit agitated at the moment

  • @thegadgetguy100 Ah they're nothing to worry about, their air force is a joke. Their jets wouldn't get anywhere near these islands before our typhoons swatted them down.

  • @CKinnerley ha true, there not what they used to be, and even then we beat them

  • can you fit a 9.6 battery in the madbull rail system?

  • @sinkiller8 NiMh? No chance, sorry. Pretty much lipos only in there, though I only use lipos anyway.

    CHECK THE ROUNDS

    INSERT THE MAG

    TUG TO ENSURE IT'S SECURE

    RACK COCKING HANDLE

    FORWARD ASSIST

    GOOD DRILLS! :)

Oh, and you even closed the dust cover as well. Top drawer. In terms of the actual L85, I have an ICS one too, and it's nice to know that yours sounds as whiny as mine. btw, is that the Madbull rail? Did you have any trouble fitting it?

  • @DigitalEchoFox Not sure why I do it with an AEG, pure muscle memory kicking in I guess, heh. Rail is the madbull replica yes, had a little bit of work to do on the adapter piece but that was only 2 minutes with the dremel, very easy.

  • nice vid, i was wondering if you could make another using a 9.6v battery.

  • @DrewBlue86 A 9.6 nimh gives pretty much the same results as a 7.4 lipo, so what you're seeing in that video covers both.

  • Seems to run very good with LiPo. Nice response on the trigger too. I've been thinking of buying this gun for a while now.

  • Nice one :) !

  • @BEairsoftTV Thank you :)

  • Grate video, do you have anymore stuff on some warrior assualt systems gear? would love to see some more reviews of that :)

  • @godsofair96 I reviewed the DCS plate carrier that I'm wearing there in the video if you look back through my archive.

  • Awesome video dude, my project the moment is an L85A2 with all the new updates! Where did you get Elcan from? Keep up the good work!

  • @Jacobtaylorabreu All the usual suspects in HK carry them. WGC, rsov, uncompany etc. It's not accurate to the optic we're replacing the SUSAT with but it's not too far off, and it is very practical.

  • come on chris where is the doctor sight and grip-pod ;-) great rif mate

  • @MrWookie2 Fancy new Elcan with docter is on the way, but I hate the ergonomics of grip-pods I'm afraid, so I decided to avoid the 'standard issue' look. Plus there's enough guys out there with that setup already, I thought I'd try and be a little different.

  • Liking the multicam look!

  • @TheJaaysog Cheers. It's the issue MTP UBACS and a Warrior DCS PC. If I were to go skirmishing tomorrow that's the gear I'd use.

  • @CKinnerley oh very nice, gotta love those UBACS. Just got a 5.11 multi-cam one for the summer (if that ever comes *sigh*) !

  • @TheJaaysog I'm very strongly considering the 5.11, so if it turns up any time soon do let me know what you think.
