  • i got 8gb ram :p

  • @MegaYogcast me too ;)

  • What's the song name?

  • i have 768mb and Windows vista home basic. Works pretty

  • 768mb ram. ok for normal use

  • o dobro de ram resulta em dobro de tempo

  • pc with more ram usualy boots up slower, but is better at preformance

  • Windows Vista:

    512mb ram ; Nooo it´s too lame

1gb ram: lame too because ok

2gb ram: vista is not fast and not lame

    4gb ram: Vista is fast

  • @diehard243

Yeah, probably could, depends on the specs of your laptop. But it might be easier just to get a new computer. There are some great ones on newegg for less than 500 dollars.

  • @diehard243

    Meet the requirements for what?

  • Which one is 1gb???? HMMMMMM I wonder :)

  • oh god this is the most horrible remix of a song i have ever heard. could you not have just audioswapped?!

  • Vista on 512mb sucks, windows 7 on 512mb well is ALOT faster, tried it out on an old dell :)

  • Now you should do 512MB vs 1GB vs 2GB vs 3GB vs 4GB

  • You mean that the pc with more RAM is FASTER?!?!?! Oh my god this is a breaking development! We must inform the White House!

  • @J4M3SPR

I think you need to learn your left and right, bro.

  • @EpicVonepicness go choke on a lemon

  • this laptop of mine sucks! does everex have a built in graphics card?

  • @PotatoofFries

All laptops have built in graphics dude.

  • what does celeron m means cause pentium d is dual core pentium m is multicore how about celeron d and m im confused becaused my celeron m 1.9 ghz functions alot better than my pentium 4 2.8 ghz

  • If you look at the specifications it mentions the Celeron (i.e. a piece of crap.)

Seriously, it's not the Operating System at fault.

Maybe if they got more decent computers Vista would run better.

Back then when Vista was released, Pentium 4's were still widely used that's why people were complaining that it was so slow compared to XP.

  • Vista needs at least 4GB and then again its still slow as a dog becos the Operating system is slow

  • @MrDemilord windows has a max of 3.5 gigs of ram. Other OS can go to 64+ gigs of ram.

  • @MwFreezd That is wrong. I'm using Windows and have 8GB of RAM.

The 4GB limit is a limit of 32-bit hardware. They are limited to 4GB (not 3.5GB) of address space. Due to system reserved addresses in the upper range, 32-bit versions of Windows typically can only use ~3.25GB of RAM, plus or minus, but the limit is 4GB.

With a 64-bit CPU and operating system, this limit is gone.

Yes, some versions of Windows have RAM limits, but it has to do with the limits of 32-bit, not so much Windows itself.

  • @MwFreezd Wrong. Windows 32-bit versions have this limit.64-bit versions of Windows remove the limit.

I'm not telling that the other OS's do not support greater than 64 GB RAM.

Every 64-bit OS ( Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit still have a limit up to 16 GB RAM, the ultimate version should support every single GB of RAM ) support all the RAM that you install on your system.

  • My Vista has 3GB ram and sometimes it boots up even slower than this 512MB one.

  • Sorry in my world there both slow!!!!

  • im using a acer aspire with 512MB RAM running vista home basic SP2

and it runs like brand new out of box

Quick , Fast and so forth

This vid is far fetched LMAO :P

  • Vista aint that bad

but in this vid u made them as if they're lousy

  • im using XP 2gb mem

  • omg it run so SLOW!!! bouth

  • okie now try 2.5gb and 3gb ... and no diff...

  • Vista= The worst Operating System ever made... :P

  • Longest boot time i've ever seen a computer do anyway.

  • go and get a life cunt

  • go and get a life cunt

  • my laptop im using right now is vista 2gb. my computer is 512gb. fucking slow shit its soooo fuckinqqq annoyinggg

  • The left one is 1GB DAMN

  • 1gb ram boot 50secs

    512 ram boot 1:03minutes

  • da 1gb is obviously da one dat loads faster.... smh... dat will be da one to da left

  • da 1gb is obviously da one dat loads faster.... smh

  • Why the hell are you using a Suckeron processor in Vista? And 1 GB of RAM isn't very good either. 3 GB or more otherwise you shouldn't have Vista. And have a competent processor with at least 2 cores. Celerons are too slow to be worth anything.

  • Lol witch one is witch ?? AHHH i know its 2 with 1GB and the one with 512MB ist behind that two :DDD

  • stupid music...

  • u guyz r retarded... its so obvious n im not even a tech geek... left ones the 1 gig ram the others the 512 mb...

  • @X4LilGameX4 Due to the fact that your not a tech geek explains why you dont question which one is 1gb and which is is 512mb. Is that why right laptop showed screen faster? It has it's odds and evens. Which you dont know since your not a tech.

  • @dragonxd32 yeah but the left one booted and loaded faster and umm... more ram memory makes ur computer run a lil faster

  • @X4LilGameX4 K the video and comments confused me already lol

  • In my experience, Vista runs beautifully if you have 2gb RAM or more - even if you're running applications that use more than 1.5gb. Vista just likes to grab about 1gb at the start and then if something else needs it it'll give it back, but if that 1gb isn't there at the start then Vista will run sluggish the whole way through.

  • lol@at all of the little closet nerds trying to debate each other on youtube, get a life fuckers. Fuck all yall mofos ..i.(o_O).i.. (_(_(o

  • Which is the 512mb and where is the 1gb?

  • you could also get the same performance of these tasks running 512 as 2 256 ram disks, ram speed is completely separate from size of the ram disk. You have to load up a 10 MB file... you have 2 computers, one with two 4 GB sticks (8GB) of 665 Mhz ram and that same one, but with two 128 MB sticks (256MB) of 1.5 GHz ram. The computer with 256 MB of ram is going to be faster. This is called propaganda.

  • @JAKExTHExRAKE true..if the OS is 0MB total

Vista NEEDS 2GB or more to run WELL, but on 95 the difference between 512 and 2048MB would be completely unnoticiable because 95 was made for systems with as little as 16

  • @myid9876543 Vista is quite the consumer now isn't it. 2GB??? OSX 10.5 hardly needs 1!

  • Hmm... I don't care about vista it's fast but it oftenly crashes!!! That's why I now use windows 7

  • People keep asking which side is which....Isn't it extremely obvious? Why would the 1GB RAM be SLOWER!? It won't be, so then common sense should tell you that the 1GB stick is on the left....

  • @LINYJumper the only reason that the 1GB is faster is because the files are spread over 2 cards

  • @JAKExTHExRAKE I don't care what the reason is, I was just trying to point out how amazing it is that people can't make such a straight forward correlation.

  • @LINYJumper I absolutely agree.

  • 1gb vista?? thats goin gto be very very slow

  • the one on the right is the one with 512MB cuz its slower...

  • Quien Gano la de 1 GB??????

  • ...."her name is roseel i have a drem about she rings my bell, im dead if he knew about, ohh hyeerrr yere fuck yeer im just a tennage fuckne dirty bag abyyyy yeeerrr oh god fucken yerrrrrr...."

  • GODDAMN IT LET THE SONG FINISH.

    HER NAME IS NOELLE

I HAVE A DREAM ABOUT HER. ARGHGH

  • WHAT THE FUCK!

    This is weird :S

  • STUPID MUSIC!

  • - it's best to install 1Gb+1Gb (Multimedia) or 2Gb+2Gb (Gaming) this way 'Dual Channel' mode switches on and not to mention better performance but also the notebook heats less

  • I have a everex with 198mb of ram how can i boost it up to its peak performecing... also wen i try to play a fullscreengame t only showw's 1/4th of screena ne1 know how to fix that??

  • @goodkid8 since everex has left the US market, you'll need to upgrade RAM via a site like newegg, just use the memory checker at crucial to see what type you need

As far as games go, your screen resolution is prob. being adjusted when you launch the game. The higher the resolution you set in the game's settings, the harder the computer has to work to display the animation on screen. If you adjust the resolution higher, the game's frame rate might drop to a point where it's unplayable. :)

  • i think the left is 512MB...

  • LOL 512mb who still hasnt upgraded from 1999?

  • the left 1 is 1 gb and the right one is 512 mb

  • 1 gig is left 512 mb is right

  • can some one please get back to me which on is the 1gb one im really confused and clueless

  • i have 512 mb ram windows xp home but my processor is intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 cpu 2.80GHz (2 CPUs) (i got this information from dxdiag from run) and 1500 mb virtual memory because my computer says that is the highest i can use...512 mb ram and 1500 mb virtual momory is a little wierd.

  • parts of the song are missing

  • LOL cool video. Let me guess the computer on the LEFT has the 512MB of ram. xD

But yea, I bet if you gave the computer on the right an SSD drive, it would run at the same speed.

  • they sell a hp compaq at futureshop with 13GB of RAM. I find it pointless at that level

  • @agne240 you have vista 64bit ultimate. this is vista 32 bit, which will only take up to 4 gb sadly. i just maxed out my laptop yesterday with 4gb of ram cause it wont take any more...

  • 512MB?!?!?! It actually booted? 1 GB was awfully slow on my old Athlon 64 X2 laptop. Also my gut says this is BS because It takes 43 seconds for my Pentium D 2.6 GHz laptop to load Vista Basic with my 4 GB of ram. these computers have Celerons which are crap.

  • i have 5,512 )))

  • Microsoft doesn't recommend 512mb ram, that's the minimum requirement, its just obvious that with more ram the computer runs faster...

  • 512 MB RAM for vista - seriously? that sucks, lol

1GB - Still good but not good enough

    2GB - Normal

    3GB - Great!

4GB - Totally BEAST! Works super awesome!

  • @yoosuf29 yeah but you forgot win vista sucks!!!

  • No it doesn't. It did suck, but now with service pack 2, vista is atm better than windows 7 imo.

  • Man... This is ridiculous, I'm so used to my PC :P

I only have 3GB but its DDR2 running at 900Mhz... that coupled with a 3.6Ghz Quad core processor and a Solid State Drive, things load like a dream!!

  • @AlexJDick937 vista ultimate 64bit, or windows vista 32bit? if it is 32bit, why not just spend the money and max it out with 4gb? if 64bit ultimate, why not fill it up til there is no more empty slots for ram?

  • @monkeywithawrench27

Well first off, I don't have Vista lol... worst operating system i ever tried... had it for 4 hours then trashed it. So in that note, i have XP Pro 32 Bit (3.25GB Max). One: I don't like XP 64 bit... its too business like, and Two: I don't have the money to get more RAM for it. Besides that... I hardly use 1GB of ram as is "Unless rendering HD videos or playing a big game" but even then I've never seen 3GB. So why waste the money?

  • @yoosuf29 no much differnce between a 3gb and 4gb lol ive used a 512MB ram PC for like 3 year since last month

  • 512, you serious? lol, I have quitted using 512MB ram like 4 years ago it was very fast at that time to me. 512MB Ram is not actually bad if your using XP.

  • I have a desktop PC on winddows vista 32-bit SP2 with 2GB RAM

  • haha, thats great. As long as you have desktop, you can rely on the quickness of the computer!

  • so???

  • yeah 1gb kicks ass, for the anynone who don't know. it's the pc on the left side that has 1gb. and the other has 512mb.

  • 2 gb is better.

  • ok im lost which side is which?

  • Comment removed

  • @jessicaburciagishot left 1 gb right 512 mb

  • ok thanks. i was confused because it says 512 vs 1gb. made me think 512 was on the left

  • left=1gb right=512mb

  • @jessicaburciagishot

Obviously the left is 1 gb of ram, are you that dense...

  • The left one is 1024mb (2x512mb) and the right one is 512mb. This video is promoting additional ram in the description. @jessicaburciagishot @FRURMELLL

  • @jessicaburciagishot more ram on any computer means better performance

armed with this knowledge can you unlock the enigma of which computer has the most RAM?

  • @voiceofreason2008 ooooookkkkkkkkk look that was around a year ago i was going by the title 512 vs 1 512 was first on the title so i thought the laptop on the left was supposed to be the 512 thats why i was in bum fucked egypt when i seen it was going faster. chill guys i know now......

  • @jessicaburciagishot ok i understand why you posted your initial query

    peace out

  • I don't want to appear snooty or anything (in fact, I really like Windows XP, just not the design of the new versions of Windows), but my iBook G4, which is 4 years old (almost) has 512 MB of RAM running OS X 10.4 (came out approx. 6 months before Vista) is WAYYY faster than either of those computers, and mine even has a "slower" 1.33GHz PPC G4 processor.

  • Wow... 5 drives mirroring into one... that must be sum fancy teknologee there...

  • lag lenovo 3000 n200 1.86ghz 1.86

  • tnx usefull info.

  • not tryin to be an ass i like windows 7 and vista is okay but i have an iMac running snow leopard and it boots up in under 20 seconds (usually around 10 to 15).

  • and shuts down in under 6, am i right? i have one too.

  • actually under 4 but sometimes 2 or 3

  • And I, use 2 GB ram on my vista laptop

  • lol i went from 1 gb on my acer when vista came out to 2 gb, till that slowed down then i went to 4 gb. that was over a period of 6 months. then i put xp on with 2.5 gb and never looked back. used the other ram to bring my iMac to 3 gb and that has never been faster either. it even got faster when going from 10.5 to 10.6

  • Yeah, that's the thing with Vista, at certain times, it'll get just to the point where you want to throw it out the window, where XP never EVER did that for me, and my XP machine is on only 384 MB ram. Surprisingly though, that XP machine is actually a tad faster than my Windows 7 Enterprise machine o_O... Glad you're happier with XP now.

  • Lol my windows 7 boots up just as fast as XP (30 secs)

  • lolz

my laptop boots windows 7 in 7-9 Seconds... with my main board settings i can change around. to make it boot faster to i can fart on alienware horse shit

  • llooool but i have a raid 5 set up you dont.. thats 5 drives mirroring into 1 .. so every thing the drive writes it wrights to 5 other drives.. my pc will rape yrs i paid 6 grand for it at christmas

  • my pc can take 32GB DDR3 1600Mhz clock RAM your MAC carn't... yor MAC is shit my Windows 7 Alienware pc boots windows 7 in 14 seconds so shut up with all your mac crapp.. mac are rubbish you can do more on a pc like play games... so fuck off

  • have fun with your viruses the macintosh platform, as long as you have 10.5 or later doesn't get them HAIL TO UNIX!!!

  • my macbook takes 10-20 seconds to boot and its 3 years old :/

  • vista is bullshit, plz get windows 7

its faster, even with 512 mb

  • i got windows 7 and its fast as hell (faster that vista)

  • @jaquelynmaynor842 no its one of those sites that pesters you to fill in surveys, which then give you spam emails and calls.

  • Which one is the 512 mb, and which one is the 1 gb? This video is pointless if you don't say that.

  • i think left is 1gb

  • @FRURMELLL i think the point of the video is to show 1gb is faster with vista so the one that boots windows faster must be the one with 1gb, I could be wrong tho

  • @FRURMELLL left is 1 gb i think it booted up faster

  • @FRURMELLL Left = 1 gb and right = 512 mb

you can see by yourself, by just seeing the slowest :p

  • @FRURMELLL it is obvious that the left one is 1 gb and the right one is 512 mb, I dont think there is a point to ask such a dumb question when its answer is soo clear!

  • @FRURMELLL use your fucking brain? of course the slower one is 512 mb

  • @FRURMELLL lol

  • @FRURMELLL pretty obvoius isnt it?

  • @FRURMELLL

no one is that stupid, though. the one on the left obviously is the one with 1gb.

  • @FRURMELLL

I would say right is the 1gb cuz its obv fasters

  • chupame la poyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • My iMac takes 17 seconds.

  • my mac pro takes just a tad less, hurray for us!

  • @fruad

    Cheers! :D

  • well duh these are cheap ass laptops with max 1gb ram mac pro can run 32gb ram lol

  • 3 GB DDR2 I HAVE

  • woah that is faster than my acer it has 1gb ram and is slower than christmas..DX at a standstill mine is running 800mb i cant imagine 512 DX

  • Its not just the amount you have to take into consideration speed, 512mb of DDR2 800 is not going to preform anywhere near 512mb of DDR3 1333. Just something to keep in mind :D

  • For most every day tasks, most users will never notice. This is one of the reasons why OEMs can get away with stuffing a system with "only" 667 memory when the system CAN run 800. The performance difference just isn't enough to merit adding the faster memory when they can save another $15 by going with slower memory.

  • can't be real. well, vista is a fail.

  • lol.. my vista even loads faster mine takes 8 secs to load only..

  • HA, LE ROMPIO EL CULO!

  • Somebody ask a psychologist why everyone naturally assumes the one on the left has less ram. Even when i saw this the first time i was like wtf, before i realised like a second later the 1 gig is on the left. Anyone need a project for a psychology class, this is a good idea.

  • Never use Windows Vista on 512mb the lowest I'd use Vista on is 1gb. I think Windows 7, Windows Xp, or Ubuntu would work on 512mb.

  • my windows emachines comp came with like 512 it was slow as shit.... then i upgraded it with another 512mb card(we had another comp that was broken) and now its hellalot faster

  • i used 256mb on vista every 1 said that it wouldnt work even windows but it did and it was quite fast :S

  • Has anyone who watched this video actually thought that maybe, just maybe, the 1 GB was on the left and the 512 MB is on the right?

  • 12 GB DDR3 RAM

yep and I can't imagine a that all u people have such shitty computers

  • YEAH! WELL! 512 mb of DDR2 RAM @ 533 MHZ!

    TAKE THAT YOU BITCH!

    *cries himself to sleep*

  • Comment removed

  • That's because it's not. The 1 GB is on the left.

  • Which is which.

  • i had a everex 512mb windows vista home basic desktop. i installed windows xp professional over it and it works fast now. 512mb is good for windows xp and below

  • 512 was not enough for me, I got 2 gigs now

  • I have the answer. This is what I just found out. Vista is different from other operating systems, the more RAM a computer has, the more memory it will actually use. This is probably why the 512mb laptop boots up faster.

I have a 2gig RAM laptop on vista and it uses about 700mb with no applications. How can a 512mb laptop ever hold 700mb, thats because it doesn't, it actually holds less.

  • go suck dick people i work for nvidia.

  • what happens if u got lots of stuff on ur 1gb it will go slow aswell

  • the 1gb might being going slower because it has 2 512mb sticks

  • Did you ever think that maybe the 1 GB one is on the left??

  • home bacsic not real OS its a stripped down piece of shit.

  • 512MB is faster than 1GB ? Lol WTF?

  • The 1 GB is on the left!

  • Comment removed

  • You're dumb

  • Why do people think 512MB is faster? The 1gb machine is shown completing its tasks in half the time. If you think the one on the left is the one with only 512mb of ram then have fun living in your dream world.

  • Thank god! It's good to know i'm not the only one who actually thinks the 512 MB laptop is on the left! rofl!

  • Comment removed

  • you dont know what the fuck your talking about

  • windows damn homebasic vista is so fucking annoying! he knows, what he does know what hes talking about xD

  • You're dumb too

  • What you just said made absolutely no sense.

  • 15199 please buy a gun.... But a small gun because it would take longer to load a big gun. And then shoot yourself using your pinky. Because your thumb is to big and would take too long to move the trigger.

  • Sure y not

  • mee too!!!!
