Great review on this horrid film. Maybe you're right- no, I "know" you're right & that studio did NOT want to spend any $ on this franchise. AVPR should be a war movie. Personally, at the end of AVP there was some shot of 2 predators on top of a pyramid in ancient times with hordes of Aliens running up the sides of it to attack the Aliens (who are using their weapons in combat). I like something like that! A war (even though 4 some reason this studio keeps pitting 2 Preds vs 5,000 aliens:((
