@sindydoll35 I can already tell I'll love it..it looks so good :)....I just think that the people of today have ran out of ideas and just end up doing remakes...and another reason is that they know they can make money off of it...i don't think they care about the fans anymore .
@1428nancythompson yes i totally agree with u.fingers crossed they will stay away from happy birthday 2 me+sleepaway camp.ive heard a terror train remake is in the pipeline.enjoy the original bloody valentine 1428 nancythompson, its grt fun+80's horror at its best.
@ImBarneyRawr actually the remake was a great movie and is actually probly 1 of the remakes that at least makes effort to be as good as the original as well as slightly changing it to differ the original. though if thats your opinion taht the movie is just boobs even though there's only the 1 sex scene and completely chick (last about 10 mins) then fair enough. Just so u kno i do rather the original just saying don't bash a remake unless it deserves it :P
it was scary but also very sad. that one scene with the sheriff was almost tearjerking when i was little. the killer sends him a heart shaped boxes with a human hearts inside, but then he gets another one from his wife, who was murdered like 20 minutes before. very emotional
@PanicPsicleRocker The remake should have been a stand alone film. I personally don't think it sucked, but it should not have been titled 'My Bloody Valentine'
@SUSCRIB33 sigh..... its judging which 1 u see first to some and to those who just rather watch classic film. This may be ur opinion and so many others but u shouldn't bash a movie remake for trying to make it relevant to the newest generation since most of them won't even try a movie before their time :P though ur right most of the time the originals are better though u shouldn't dismiss them for being bad movies just cos they wern't like the original or better than.
@MistyShadow007 see, i do think the originals are better, but i still like the remakes, today. Like Nightmare on Elm street and others. And sometimes not even horror movies. like Footloose, i love the remake.
Extended Cut of this is one of the greatest slashers ever made..haven't seen the remake, but will not probably ever watch it..I PREFER THE ORIGINAL VERSIONS..
oh i love this one, it was one of the first slashers i saw and having seen tons more since, i can still say My Bloody Valentine is one of he most brutal... and i hear its heavily edited too O.O
I Loved them Both but the Original to me wasnt much of a horror film but more of a mystery but the remake was a horror / mystery i saw this in 81 with friends and we enjoyed it and so we all saw the remake and we agreed that it was good but not as good as the original but the remake was cool cause Jensen Ackles he is an awsome actor and i love Supernatural
@MomToDavid Yes, the original MBV is much better. I like the remake ok, but indeed it was boring while the original draws you in. The love story is more interesting too.
@Ramongomina no! no the 3d version does NOT suck! JUST BECAUSE YOU LIKE TO ORIGINAL DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO HATE THE REMAKE! My Bloody Valentine 3D is actually a GREAT REMAKE! It was incredible! That's how you make a remake! It's better than the retarded Halloween Remake, it's better than the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Remake, it's better than the Friday the 13th Remake! The only GOOD remakes today are: My Bloody Valentine 3D, House of Wax, Black Christmas and A Nightmare on Elm Street! and friday
i love this movie, canadian slasher films are the best

Original Movies are better than the Remakes, For AdSample:
My Bloody Valentine 1981 --- My Bloody Valentine 3D
The Exorcist --- The Last Exorcism
Prom Night 1980 --- Prom Night 2008
Black Christmas 1974 --- Black Christmas 2006
and many many more!
SUSCRIB33 9 months ago
@SUSCRIB33 Halloween 1979 --- Halloween 2007
A Nightmare on Elm Street 1984 --- A Nightmare on Elm Street 2010
Friday the 13th 1980 --- Friday the 13th 2009
Even the big three aren't safe.
