i Have lived in Lvov nd its one of the worlds most beautiful cities ... The people r a bit rude... as far as i know , most of the residents r ukrainian nd thr r nearly no poles livin in da city... i saw some elderly polish visiting the great graveyard near med university...i used to sit some times in that graveyard, the graves of the dead soldiers from 2nd world war nd some ancient graves inside the graveyard with statues r worth seeing. I will always remember Lviv , the city of lions :)
During WWar II, the city survived, and 65% of all inhabitants were Poles who were expelled Stalin's decision to the city. Today every stone recalls the relationship with the Poland. City is very similar to Kraków, who, like Lviv was spared by the war and preserved its old architecture. Krakow is an orphaned brother of the city. It is very sad that the present inhabitants of this great city have done so much to wipe the memory of the past history of Lwów - the Polish past the last 600 years...
