  • Anytime we can see some nature that we otherwise wouldn't have been exposed to is a good time! Thanks for the grouse tour! Next time, you may get lucky enough that one may let you get a little closer. Either way, good stuff, Ed! 5*! Peace.

  • Scares the crap outta sometimes doesn't, LOL. I was hunting once and stalking a moose and everything was quiet. Then I made a step forward flushing a grouse. I nearly dropped my gun, LOL.

  • looks nice out there, great job

  • Means a lot, thank you.

  • Stalking animals is quite a skill and calling them is another, i think you got it Ed LOL! 5/5

  • LOL, Thanks

  • Cool, I know the feeling of sneaking up on an animal, I did it this last winter in Idaho , I got myself within 15 feet of a deer grazing. Got ready to take my picture and the dog come running and chasing them away! But to just know I am able to do that is a cool feeling. Your heart was pounding wasn't it!

  • Like a freight train. I know it was only a ruffed grouse, but man was it ever exciting to stalk it!! Someday I'll have to tell you a funny story of the first time I saw a deer. You'll laugh your butt off!!

  • I look forward to hearing the story Ed! Stalking prey has always been fun for me, I do it most of the time with only a camera mounted on a rifle stock. Guess you could say it is a way to hunt without having a permit. Plus it teaches us how to move up on the intended prey, preparing ourselves for the hunt to come. Getting to close can be a problem though if the animal is big enough to hurt you though! Thats another story I will tell later on! Not so funny but a good around a campfire story!

  • Beautiful thank's for sharing this video. 5*

  • Glad you enjoyed it!! Fun experience for me. ED
