P.S, on your bassline you want the ADSR to fallow your Drum line so your fallowing Bass can have a chance to breath a little. Attack should be set to 0. And just fiddle with the others to see what you like. Set your Sustain to a low ratio tho. once you get the Drum line and bassline down you can start working on your Melody from there.
Another thing, I you're having trouble finding a good key for your Bassline, Try G.
So, It sounds like you're stuck in the Trance mode. To achieve Psy-trance from this mode you have to use a template. If you use this template i will give you, You can grow from there. Use a sample based Drum line so you can set Pitch(I.E adjusting Speed of drum rolls). Now, You can either use a Bass Drum or a Kick drum for your Drum line. The bass line should fill in what is missing. So 1 bar should look like this Drum/Bass/Bass/bass. Set your BPM to 135 for sot psy, 145+ or deadly psy.

bpm psy varies from 135 to 202 bpm.. depends on what style ;D try making psycore, id love to see that :D
