It has elements from quite a few genres: Hip-hop, J-pop, Jazz, Electronic, Funk, Breakbeat and many more so take your pick.

The reason I believe the MC's of the first two Persona games is "different region". The ones from P3 and P4 could, with little effort, cross over. Not so with Mr. Pierced Ear, Tatsuya, or Maya. (Remember: Tatsuya is only MC in Innocent Sin--Maya is MC in Eternal Punishment.)

Does this make me a know-it-all or something?

Granted--there are also time differences.

this is a nice attempt on extending the original, but some parts just doesnt really work out when they r linked together. i tried doing the same thing b4 myself, and i ended up only looping the song twice, cuz thats just about as natural as i can make it get using wmm lol.

the part in ur version that works out for me the link at 2:23, but i think it would sound better if u let the rhythm loop twice then start that link.
