  • @sygo7g and olive oyl

  • the beginning of this reminded me of Little Lulu haha

  • 123 your out

  • DANG! grandma can fight

  • don't forget olive oyl

  • Little Audrey could sure escape quickly from -- er -- bondage. But how did Grandma's pinning Burglar to the floor for three seconds assist the law enforcement process?

  • Well, for that matter, most burglars want to get into the home, get their haul, and get out as soon as possible.

It just doesn't seem plausible that this particular burglar -- having already filled his bag with whatever it was that he found in Grandma's house -- would gratuitously seek to add several counts of child abuse to the charges that might be filed against him.

  • wait if she was that strong we didnt she run when she heard the plead of her granddaughter? why did she use a cane?

  • @ClumZIsMe

Does cartoons really need to make sense? :D

/ omg I think I'm in love with that Little Audrey x'D <33

  • @boru25 Shit, I was just thinking the same thing! I wanted to see a wolf not a stupid burgular. But hey, she doesn't live in the woods so, blechhhh... I guess to the creators it'd make more sense for a burgular to appear rather than a wolf. Still I'm pretty disappointed. They could of at least put a mustache on the burgular, then he would appear somewhat "wolfish."

  • @sygo7g And Olive Oil for some time.

  • Go Go Gadget Grandmother.

  • GRANNY HIT A CYCLONE Attitude Ajustment.

  • This criminal is not the sharpest tool in the shed, is he?

  • She was Aunt Blubell in those old Scott Towel commercials.

  • Actually, 'Noveltooner', when this was initially released, Paramount had stopped using "Little Audrey Says" as her theme music, and began using the "standard" Noveltoon/Modern Madcap theme used in the opening credits from 1955 through 1964, regardless of which character was appearing in them. To make a long story short, the studio was starting to "phase" Audrey out of their production schedule {as previously mentioned, she starred in only two more "Noveltoons" before her last one in 1958}.

  • The burglar fails at life. He got outmaneuvered by a little girl AND whooped by an old lady. :P

  • It seems like this time, the wolf was a man rather than a wolf. But I gotta say, a man is more fitting for the role of the villain than a wolf. Because when it gets right down to it, we human beings can be the most wicked creatures in existence if we choose to be.

  • Bless me...Mae Questel is supplying the voice of Little Audrey...as she supplied the voice of Olive Oyl all those years for the Popeye cartoons.

  • and also betty boop.

  • Her co-star the last Jackson Beck did well in this cartoon and in Tarts and Flowers

  • super nanny lol

  • I vaguely recall these from when I was 4 or 5.

  • omg, remember seeing this when i was young! all the cute memories!

  • wow this episode is way different from the other ones i'v seen

  • GO GRANDMA!!!

  • I though she was the "Super Granny"

  • Granny obviously watches TV wrestling; the cliche in those days was that "old ladies" loved to watch wrestlers in the'50s, and cheered them on in living rooms all over America...

  • Go Grandma!

  • Grandma just came back from Boot camp! lol go, Grandma!

  • Don Rockwell actually wrote the "American" lyrics for Tatsuo Takai's original "Tetsuwan-Atom" theme, 'sygo'. Fred Ladd wanted a theme song with "action" lyrics to match the images seen in the opening title, and decided a "boy chrous" was the best way to emphasize it...if it sounded like one of Winston Sharples' "Famous Studios" confections, that's one on me!

  • Well I wanna see a wolf get a big belly after eating the grandmother & Red. Not a human. Thats the reason I treature the Red Riding Hood story.

  • Little Audrey's panties ALWAYS peeked out at one time or another- even in her Harvey comic book stories and the 1951 King Features comic strip drawn by Steve Muffati- because she's supposed to be adorable and CUTE! Osamu Tezuka's "Uran" {"Astro Girl"} in "ASTRO BOY" had a similar trait...

  • my name is audrey.haha!

  • At 4:54,you can see Audrey's panties.

  • She's like four, whats your point. It's a cartoon.

  • you go audrey!

  • I liked watching the Audrey segments whenever I turned on to Casper reruns...

  • At 33 seconds,Someone can do her in the ass.But she is actually telling her dog to do her.2 NASTY?

  • Her dog?Cool any Audrey cartoon with a dog,TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!I love cartoon dogs Especially from my favorite cartoons.

  • yeah I wanna say the cartoon is called "Doggone" but I know its the last Little Aundrey cartoon they made, I've never seen it but I'm still looking. If you go on bcdb dot com you can read more about it.

  • yeah thats it I had the right naw just the spelling was off. Did you find a way to purchase it???

  • Naw,But I'm still lookin'.Thanks VERY MUCH.ALL those darn goofy goofy gander episodes avalible but not the ones you want to see.DARN.

  • The only Little Audrey Cartoons I saw so far are: Goofy Goofy Gander, Tarts and Flowers, Butterscotch and Soda the 1 where she went fishing & the 1 where she has a B.B. gun. Doesn't Little Audrey sound like Olive Oil a little bit?.. I like Little Audrey cartoons better then Little LuLu though The Little LuLu cartoons are good 2.

  • The start of the cartoon reminds me of the Little LuLu cartoon where she wanted to play baseball instead of practicing her violen.

  • That's because it's kinda the same segment. Even the violin music is the same.

  • Your right. :) Happy Valentine's day EmeraldeJade!

  • The only Little Audrey Cartoons I saw so far are: Goofy Goofy Gander, Tarts and Flowers, Butterscotch and Soda & the 1 where she has a B.B. gun. Doesn't Little Audrey sound like Olive Oil a little bit?

  • LOL! That's my girl! God, I miss this cartoon so much! I remember this used to come on Fox in the morning daytime and on Sundays and Saturdays on UPN!

  • WHERE THE HELL IS THE WOLF?

  • If you think about it, a man is potentially more wicked and cruel than a wolf. Besides, that old story has been remade so many times before. In this case, we learn that the greatest threat to humanity is not wolves but humanity itself.

  • Still, nothing is more fun than a bloated wolf after stuffing his face with Grandma and Red Reding Hood.

  • CAN SOMEONE HELP ME!! im looking for an old cartoon like these. its about 2 poor kids. its a boy and a girl and they have a dream that they go to this place LOADED with food. at the end of the dream a Baker brings food to their house and the little boy pokes himself in the butt with a fork! i wanna find it! lol

  • Its called "Somewhere in Dreamland"

  • Its called "Somewhere in Dreamland"

  • MY NAME IS AUDREY!!!

    ~Audrey Josephson-Day~

  • I wish we sould see this with the original Paramount titles and Audrey song as originally made instead of the artifical "Harveytoon" cut and generic Noveltoon title music.

  • I know! I miss that song too:

'About what Little Audrey has to saaaaaaay!'

    God, I miss that!

  • Olive Oyl and Audrey sound alike.

  • Doesn't Astro-Boy look a lot like Little Audrey?

  • This cartoon was awarded the 23rd place in "The 50 Greatest Cartoons: As Selected by 1,000 Animation Professionals".

  • That's Little RURAL Riding Hood.

  • This is what is on the list. Unless the list was wrong, of course (I do love Little Rural Riding Hood)

  • Soo funny when her grandma kicks asss!!!!

  • little audrey is classic

  • LOVE IT

  • Mae Questal did a good job voicing Little Audrey, but I like her better as Olive Oyl!

  • wow first ive seen of this. never seen this in ma life tbh

  • littel audery rocks!

  • I LOVE Little Audrey!

  • Originally released as a 1955 Paramount theatrical "Noveltoon", directed by Seymour Kneitel. By this time, Audrey was more popular in her Harvey comic books than at the movies! Only two more cartoons followed this one, before she "retired" from the big screen in 1958.

  • There should be more of these:P..like the one where she ate to much candy classic:)

  • grandma kicks some ass!!!

  • Where are the other Little Audrey Cartoons?

  • I got this one in French (La Petite Audrey) believe it or not.

  • Brings back memories...thanks!

  • I loved Little Audrey...I had the ep when she ate to much junk food and she has that nightmare.
