the film is a FICTIONAL story, yes it was based upon the titanic sinking, however there was no rose or jack that fell in love ie. story didn't happen... so i doubt they individually chose the characters to match real people, how time consuming and they wouldn't have access to information like that

Omg i think this is the most beautiful thing i have ever seen. My great grandmother was on the titanic and was one of the survivors. Sadly She died a couple years ago in her bed. This video was a great memory of her and how she gave our family so much joy. Thank you so much for putting this video on her. God is with you greatly.

Sims 2 also has a limit of things that you can have/buy, so of course there will be substitutions. The beginning with the guy painting is probably the advertisements of the publisher before the movie (like the real movie).
