Actually the NS had a special campaign about this last year. I thought it had quite an impact! But it might not have lasted for very long. They should put stickers up notifing travellers to step to the right!

I always saw escalator for lazy people who didn't walk stairs.. Since there's very very often a stair next to an escalator here..
