  • he should have left out the singing poodles....

  • Back in the day (1987), I thought for sure Gary was going to have a comeback with this.

  • @djdavemick He should have............this song, like many other classic 80s tunes bring back epic memories that I wish I could bring back instantly. Thank God I was there and I wouldnt choose any other decade to be in.

  • Love this song, got this and London Times on 7 inch single about 10 years ago for 50p each

  • How utterly SEXY is that?? God I love my Gary!!! Female fan here BTW

  • Brilliant song-the vocals are great, the music amazing.

  • I heard this song one time when it first came out on a college radio station, U92, WVU. I managed to find it on 45 rpm a few days later. And then, never heard it again, no one knew nothing of it and other than the 45 I was left with, it disappeared until I saw it here. I guess God bless youtube.

  • one of his best....

  • I love radio Heart, catchy tune great Lyrics, thanks Gaz

  • Wow, how come I don't remember this? It sounds just sooo radio friendly. I love the 80s

  • que temazo!!!!

  • Not his best material, but he looks fab.

  • great song from the great man!

  • I love Gary's cute little moves in this though, and I love the girls' poodle hair strangely enough! LOL

  • i agree, why hasn't numan got an MBE for his contrabution to music. or as you say a lifetime acheivement. it's about time he had both or a least one of them.

  • i managed to do Gary Numan's song Are Friends Electric and please view my profile

  • Gary can really handle pop vocals.....but wow! the band is extra cheese '80's. I guess nothing ages well. Cool track though.

  • i want to do this song with my keyboard, but i don't know which keys to press and i need the other sound effects like the guitar and drums aswell

  • Ohh, that look at the end!

  • hmmm.... 3 Def Leppard fans.

  • This is numan when he didnt know what direction to go in musically , a realy bad phaze of his career , still looks good on the vid but a really bad numan song im afraid.

  • Long time Numan fan, I was lucky enough to catch this on tape as I was randomly recording a radio station in Arizona in 1987. I've been looking for this ever since. But this'll certainly do. Thanks for putting this up.

  • This band is very very nice. I love All Across The Nation, London Times and other songs.

  • WOW! What an amazing performance and a great song!

  • simply brilliant! Numan sounds soooooo good on this track

  • I'm a Numan fan but this was absolute tripe!

  • that blonde one would get a face-full,the sexy bitch, lol.

  • yeah, the backing singers get the key and the pitch smack-on on this track.

  • has a friggin great chorus and backing vocal

  • Got the 7 inch. What a lucky lucky man I am. Ha ha you fuckers!

    (I have a price)

  • This track has a mysterious power to grab you , best played LOUD...

  • That is a phenomenal track. Gary Numan - the one and only.

  • didn't gary look so yummy in that video?

  • that's his name!!hugh nicholson.thanks

  • gary did this as a thank you to a singer -songwriter who he had worked with in the past.

  • i just picked this 45 up yesterday, having never heard it ... just the fact that gary numan was in it made me buy it ... it's an ok single ... no real hook to it, but that's ok, it's not horrible ..

  • no real hook? i'd call that chorus a pretty good hook

  • There's no need for nastyness, i'm just thankful for Gary's contribution to music. Why the hell hasn't he got a lifetime acheivement at the brits,

  • I hate to be rude but some people (like dajzilla) are too much. They listen to crap like Van Halen and they have the nerve to criticize something that is light years ahead of most American artists. How can you expect an American Van Halen fan to appreciate good music???

  • Careful now - I'm an American Van Halen fan who loves Numan's work. I've been a fan of his since the late 70s (when Van Halen was at it's best) and will choose Numan every time over VH.

  • @GWM4GWM Well I like pretty much anything including Van Halen and Gary Numan.

  • He really studied David Bowie for this video. It's kind of eerie how much he mimics all his moves, I guess it's a homage.

  • Thanks for posting this, as its the only place I can find it, when I want to hear this song!

  • Bad Days for Numan With Radio 1

    Nice vid.

  • Gary Numan is one of the most honest artists in the music business, and the voice, should have sung 'Tragedy in Blue'another great song from Hugh Nicholson

  • love this song,it suits numans voice and is a great get up and dance song can't understand why his fans don't like numan colabarations i think there great.

  • LOVE THIS SONG

  • Most chart music from the late '80s was terible so you can't blame him for this.

  • Gazza, why?

  • dischordantbelief why are you being so aggressive to people who like this song? i actually went up to Gary Numan this year and asked him to sign my copy of Automatic and RadioHeart and i told him i thought they were really good songs, so if the man himself doesn't do it then what makes you think you earn the right to go slagging off his fans for liking certain songs? I love all his music ranging from his so called best i.e replicas, tpp etc to his apparent worst machine & soul, automatic.

  • Here, here! If the Man thinks this is okay, then who are we to question his music???

For me, this song brings me fond memories of 1987 and my first year in college. That's why I like it.

  • i love it up the arse. you're an insular twat.

  • You're just the kind of person that discriminates against and labels Numan. Seriously, tards like you don't know what they're talking about.

  • Probably one of my least favorite songs by him, but it is still worth a listen being a huge fan!

  • I agree with that, it's really not that great, but still cool!

  • Gary it his finest. I have warm memories of my first year in college; this was a big song at the time in 1987! Thanks for the memories!

  • Gary at his finest? you didn't attend the Wembley shows? What utter shite you talk!

  • I am in Los Angeles, California, USA you stupid moron. It would be a little bit difficult to get to Wembley Stadium; it would cost me quite a bit to hop on a plane and fly into Heathrow. However I did see Gary at a show here in the Hollywood Palladium in the mid 1980s.

  • Awesome song - just imagine if AHA or some one of that ilk had done this it would have been a huge hit - but for Gary it was during his period of isolation...Thanks Beeb

  • one of my fav track very swarv and wow he danced good hear also i love it thanks
