I think its great that apple sell the iphone without the phone - the ipod touch - for those who cant get one. Their price plans are insanely expensive, but its worth it!

EDGE data is transferred over the air waves, aka AT&T's service. It's slower than Wi-Fi, but it works pretty well for simple pages like forums and Google.

I've had conversations on it and it's been fine. The speakerphone could be a little louder with voice, but that can be fixed with a firmware update. There's been multiple complains about this, so I hope Apple is listening.

Hey David, question: is the screen real glass? It looks so clean and doesn't look like a distorted glare like other phones that simply use cheap plastic. Don't get so paranoid about where you live, hehe, your YouTube page says where you live and you can be tracked thru your IP and MAC address. By the way do you New Jersey guys have something about diners? I read somewhere that New Jerseans constantly go to diners on weekends, I wonder if this is true. Take care. -Eric.
