  • interesting video and very informative

  • This is a great video

  • Very enjoyable thank you

  • Creio que a mudança de posição do foramen magnum foi a mutação original que levou ao Homo Sapiens

I think that when the foramen magnum changed it's position , that was the original genetic mutation wich led to Homo Sapiens .

  • Lol I love singing this! Great job!

  • hairy tits

  • im glad in the america's we have our poplvuh creation history.

  • this song is outrageously stupid

  • Best...video...ever

  • I am not a monkey maybe you are but I'm not!!!!! I'm getting earth science and idk but I just feel like laughing every time the teacher is saying something but i'm not the only one thoe......still it's really interesting even thoe idk in what to believe in

  • @ishamar039 do u believe in god creating the world?

  • @micshia1306 yeah

  • @ishamar039 oh i see...

  • @micshia1306 0.o i believe in scientist and god i try by putting them both together but it's imposible...IDK in what to believe

  • @ishamar039 I am a Christian, but I beleive in evolution. I'm beyond proud to be a great ape! <3

  • @whitewolfwithblackSP I'm a christian too.. but it' kind of hard to figure out which one it's true or not.. even thoe I believe in what the bible says, earth science is soo fucking interesting for me

  • @ishamar039 oh my gosh earth science is the best lol I just believe that God created evolution. :P Cause I've seen too much of God to doubt him, and I've seen too much of evolution to doubt it lol

  • @whitewolfwithblackSP lmaoooo we are both going through the same thing XD!!!

  • You actually happen to be truly pretty, many thanks for the video playback. its pathetic i live within Benton Harbor considering that i cannot get hold of high quality make-up, on the other hand i get free samples of make-up through "GratismakeupSamples". i absolutely adore Revlon make-up!

  • lucy is not the missing link

  • fantastic concepts - thank you, have anyone used MAC's newest line of products? it is difficult to obtain good makeup in Orwell yet you can recieve impressive samples of make-up by using 'Gratis Makeup Samples'! there cool!

  • srry hate the song !!!! ^^^^

  • A great song for a great piece of archaeological history. Unfortunately, since we've found Ardi, Lucy isn't really as important we thought she was (although she's still my favorite fossil; I named my cat for her! XD). Since Ardi lived in a swamp, that's also a score for the Aquatic Ape Theory proponents like myself. +1 for the underdog! w00t!

  • It's this Humans are superior to all other species attitude that has led to the reckless disrespect to animal habitat and the extinction of countless animals so why don't you just shove it....

  • this vid is awsome, she was named after the song, and she is not a bitch she is a wondeful prehistoric creature, and she is a ape

  • This is genius. Thanks for posting.

  • great video

  • s0 lucy iz a monkey???

  • Comment removed

  • no. but her ancestor was.

  • Pretty cool video. I am an anthro major and I love songs that help you memorize all these hominids and facts about them. I've taken evolution classes with Professor McHenry and he composed this awesome song called "Habiline." I wish someone recorded it and posted it online.

  • Since you're the only one here that knows the song "Habiline", the job falls to you.

do you know anyone who plays an instrument and can back you on the song?

  • here is where modern human being emerged

  • love this!

  • I am sixth former and even this goes good for me!THANKS

  • omgg

    thnks so mch !

    this helped a lott !

imma sing it to myself on tmrws test !

  • Paranthropus are the "apes" of the real Tarzan

  • Fantastic video, The best learning method through repetition and song! Thanks for posting .

  • I will forever sing Lucy in east africa at 3.2! I think it's funny how Lucy was named after this song...I wonder what Don Johanson would think?

  • lucy wasnt named after this songg

  • Hmmm... I´ll take Don Johanson´s word over yours.

  • yeah it was because this song was playin in the tent as they found it when they were trying to figure out a name for the bitch

  • That video was amazing. Great job.

  • Very cool and informative video! Great choice of soundtrack, and Lucy's pictures. I got to say, Lucy's looking pretty good for a 3.2 million year old woman.

  • i haven't really learned evolution yet in school, but this really gets me thinking about how we really did evolve

  • YEAH K!!!

This makes me think that we were all monkeys once...

    and yet we probably weren't...

    awesome video though...

  • Well we weren't all monkeys, but we are part of a lineage that descended from something very much like a modern chimp, which is an ape (as are we) - so "we came from monkeys" isn't quite an accurate way to think of it, but we are very closely related and humans are a very interestingly evolved primate. :)

  • hmm...

    interesting...

  • The fervent wish of all biologists who accept phylogenetic systematics is that all clades be monophyletic, and that means that a name given to an ancestor applies as well to all of its descendants. That means she's a monkey, apes are monkeys, and we're all monkeys as well. We are also apes, primates, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, tetrapods, fish, chordates, deuterostomes, vertebrates and, yes, animals (and 20 or 30 other clades that I skipped over).

  • @Siamangutan

watch, 'turns out we really did come from monkeys'
