And you have successfully exercised this right eloquently and intelligently. I'll have you know I my lineage traces back to Canada in 1850's. Most people in Canada except for the indigenous people's trace their Canadian lineage back only a few generations. Your statement is rife with inadequacies and a wrong definitive misnomer.

My Canada is all those things. Obviously you are not. I am thankful that there are however many Canadians who are genuinely good people , who can hold a conversation without getting disgusting, or racist. I feel sad for you. I hope you grow up to have a more enlightened view of the universe and the world in general. Maybe do some traveling and learn about different people.  Maybe you will learn some respect for yourself in terms of the language you share with the world and in doing so people may respect you more. What is wrong with you people? The cartoon is actually funny, I think. This is not hate speech. Stop demanding special treatment. Remember, religion is fair game and a legitimate target. When I see a woman dressed head to toe in black walking ten paces behind her husband, I am offended. This is an insult to me as a man. Polygamy and religious intolerance are not Canadian values. Political cartoons are meant to offend in order to make a point.

What I find offensive is the use of the term "you people"and when someone sees a women in Niqab and already has her and her husband "figured out".Are you omnipotent?Oh yes wife abuse only exists in ISLAM. the interview shows clearly they make no case of putting words in the mouth of a person to destroy their reputation and ultimately go after the image of faith (hoping to attack one individual and try to scratch the whole faith and still pretending it is not about Islam) The radio interview pretty much make the intent clear. Cartoonist never used HIS free speech. What he did do is open the sister's mouth and STOLE words from her own tongue that she never said. There is a difference between freedom of HIS speech and the STEALING of hers. What HE did was unethical and wrong. You forge my signature on a cheque and you are guilty of fraud. You FORGE my words and create a lie and you call it FREEDOM?Is this your idea of FREEDOM? We Canadians are better people than to lie and defame to make a point, at least we were.
