  • the camera is 'protected' by being placed in a packing foam cut block that is taped (later cable tied) in place. This worked luckily.

  • The reason this looks so sluggish is that is is carrying a digital stills camera on video mode adding at least 110gms to the weight. This also explains why I could not correct yaw (too much momentum). Early days, I know better now.

  • Yes that is what was going through my mind as it plummeted down to the ground, missed it by about 6 feet, more luck than judgemnet. That was £1,000 in the air and my first flight near buildings and water.
