  • please inbox me i have questions about how you mixed down them vocals so professionallly :D

  • Nice interpretation :) , saludos desde Perú

  • Haha, sounds just like Benny Sings! :P

  • Hey man my names Jeremy i love the song you sound great with autotune, can you email and tell what i need to have setup like you have ?

i can beable to do the same thing like you are doing, i have realy great voice for sing,

    email me kd8pgy@yahoo.com

  • Creative...nice job

  • very nice cover :)

i gots a question,, many have mentioned that this microphone has to be used in a well-isolated room because it pics up everything.

what is your take on that?

Im torn between getting this mic or behringer b1.. I need help

    keep it up :)

  • you are a good singer but just be careful on the music when you sing it but you are really good and your kids are really cute to

  • Very cool. Love the sound.

  • i got that mic .

  • hello what program do u use for recording ? and what interface

  • i have mxl 2001 and i have problem with is cuz it picking up the room noise i dont knw if from the mic or the interface (fast track m-audio

    plz help

  • That's not a problem. That's how good that mic is. This is why studios have soundproof booths for singing in, so there is no ambient noise to pick up. I have to turn off everything in the room when I use mine and listed to the music through the headphones.

  • @mafia03G3 silly question. is the mxl logo in front of your mouth? this mic is not omni-directional

  • Question. How did you connect the MXL USB microphone into the Lexicon Omega? Or is the microphone plugged directly into the computer?

  • The MXL is not a USB Mic. It's a balanced XLR mic with phantom popwer and plugs directly into the Omega. I wouldn't use a USB mic for singing.

  • Yes... you have a great voice with or without the computer generated sound. I love your confidence when you sing... it really shows through. Keep up the great work!

  • Dude... that was AWESOME! I want that mic!

  • Dude you sound like freakin T-Pain. XD

But seriously, I think vocoding is a cheap way out of not singing. You should at least try to sing for real. But I do have to say that Vocoding sounds kinda cool on this song

  • I have a few songs of my own that are originals that don't use Autotune at all. The whole idea I've been playing in all the videos I have posted was to get the T-Pain sound on non hip hop songs, just to have fun with it.

I'll have my own songs posted when the copyrights all go through.

  • Im thinkin of buying that mic is it good?

and do u use a windows or mac?

and one last what kind of audio interface do u use?

  • I think it's a damn good mic for the money. You hear every little detail. I have a Lexicon Omega interface and I'm running a PC with Windows XP. No problems to report other than I have used up all the RAM at times. I only have 1 gig. My solution for one song I did was to mix down drums and put them into an audio file on two tracks, one left and one right. That free'd up about 6 VST tracks and a lot of RAM.

  • thanks!
