That pop Malenko got was 1 of the biggest pops ever. That's what I want now in wrestling. Out of all the dumbass things WCW did this was one of the best stories because they built it up for months and months so when Malenko finally came back the fans were estactic and happy that finally Jericho was gonna get his ass kicked. Great Story Line.

I marked out huge when Malenko took off the mask, I remember it so vividly!

And when he put on the Cloverleaf, damn, that was incredible...still one of the best finishers/submissions in wrestling, the Texas Cloverleaf.

@BrandonTheBeast83 No it wasn't. I have nothing against Malenko, but that pop was all Jericho's doing. He spent months building and maintaining this feud all by himself. Malenko had little to nothing to do with it. The fans poped because they just wanted to see someone beat Jericho down and shut him up. It didn't really matter who that was. Jericho at this time in his career was, IMO, the best heel in the business and this feud is a testament to why.
