@omarcrrdenas: we are doing video calls over CDMA network infrastructure since 2006 here in malaysia. calls are charge by per minute use just like ordinary calls. you just need a CDMA phone with video call capability

It's damn ugly and the "awesome" and "unique" features are overrated.

In fact, my iPhone can also serve as a wifi hotspot and videocalling is too far ahead. I bet that the quality will be too poor, especially if it uses edge connection.

The only thing that's good about it is the keyboard, and for the price/uglyness I wouldn't even consider this thing.

To sum it all up, this phone will fail.

Im sure your iphone will be left in the dust. This is pretty much their first product. Eventually they will upgrade and re-do their product with a newer version. As for now. Its the first of its kind in the US so im sure it will hold up well since its the only one.

@Johnkelz I think its funny how you used word "overrated" in this because there's nothing more overrated than an Iphone. Haha. Overly hyped. Yes. I agree its clean, but why would I want to have my Ipod and phone combined into 1? Crappy camera. They havent had video for that long. No physical keyboard. Updated quite often, in fact so often you feel like you should have waited for the next Gen. Every single time with apple. Minor adjustment to the same product in a different shell with the ipods

how can this make video calls on the verizon network? if verizon runs on CDMA which cannot do voice and data at the same time like gsm companies like at&t and t-mobile... i heard that video callin is impossible on CDMA networks like verizon and sprint
