Something like this happened to me once. I was eating in the school cafeteria when somehow, a squirrel got into the kitchen. One of the cooks chased after the squirrel through the dining area with a broom. There were jokes that the squirrel was going to be the main course.

A "Classic Shemp".When he returned to the group the boys made had a great run until about 1952. Despite critics' rantings, they did make some of the funniest comedies ever made!

I'm still totally mystified that there appears to be zero public interest in locating the version of the movie featuring Curly Howard, apparently recuperated enough to play the Cook! Fans, let's request that this amazing archeological item is released.

That footage of Curly as the cook could very well have been lost or destroyed.

I read that an alternate version does exist in the syndication package!

If it is lost, then a very important artifact is lost - this wasn't just another cameo to boost Curly's spirits, it was reportedly an attempt at the 1st "4 Stooges" film.

A depressing result of the non-use of the footage could be that Curly's health really went into freefall in late '49.
