Yeah, this is the quintessential reason why people are not gaining abilities condusive to REAL musicianship by playing this game. If it leads you to pick up an instrument -that's great, but I guarantee you'll develop bad habits at the same time.

Alot of people say Rockband sucks and that anyone who plays it is an idiot. But without Rockband I wouldn't know about Aerosmith, Metallica, Foreigner, Van Halen, Nazareth, The Beatles (my personal favorite) and of course RUSH! I now also play Piano/Keyboard, Bass, Guitar and Drums. So don't hate guy's there is a benefit from plastic controllers! (but it won't get you a date) :)

Well this just goes to show you. These guys know how to play their own song better than anyone in the world but when they do it on Rock band, it no worky. It's not the players, it the stupid game. If you want some advice. Dump the game and get a real instrument and stop wasting your life.

I play real bass guitar and I think I prefer playing Tom Sawyer on the real thing instead of something that makes the frets pretty colors. I love this vid, I cannot help but smile and laugh at this.
