  • Here is just my take.

we are in this area because of the oil. there is no other reason. Its not out of the goodness of the American heart and to assume that we are would just be horridly horridly wrong. So long as America is dependent on oil we will not leave the Middle East. We need to find alternative fuel faster. now that the biggest obstical for getting government funding for that researching is gone (bush) hopefully we can get some serious consideration and make some god dammned progress.

  • What I find lacking in Adam's analyses are the same ones that are missing in nearly every other criticism or advocate of immediate withdrawal:

    1. Why always blame the US? Why not even a single condemnation of al-Qaeda?

    2. What was his alternative? Keep an irrational despot who has a history of murdering hundreds of thousands of his own people in power with every intent to acquire WMD?

    3. The ramifications of withdrawing -- a power vacuum and devastation. And who would he blame...?

  • Go Adam!

  • I love his book, but is David Bellavia suggesting that we can fight an ideology with military force? Because we surely can't. Bullets, bombs, and missiles can't kill ideology.

  • Adam, you are a useful idiot for the mooslem nutjobs. One year later and you look like a dolt. Jmelkis and the rest of you cowards should just live in mooslem land.

  • @wleit Didn't you hear? I actually am a moozie.

  • Comment removed

  • @wleit Now we know where that one dislike came from. Go jump off a bridge please you douche bag.

  • @wleit oh very mature, ugly warmongering delusional racist!

  • When Adam says, "The longer we stay in Iraq we're going to be fueling that," he hit the nail on the head. The other guy is just filled to the brim with all of those talking points that are rehearsed ad nauseum in the corporate/mainstream media. Also, Adam is basically right when he asserts that "You can't win an occupation." That is true by definition.

  • What is her name?

  • Why do you guys have to always pick a villain?

Just because the other guy supports the war it doesn't mean he's not a patriot or doesn't want the best for the people, it just means he has a different idea for a solution.

I think the war is a question of cost/benefit. We're spending all these resources that we DO NOT have in Iraq, and not that much has changed. Oppression is embeded in their culture, they're prisoners of their own society and real change can only come from themselves.

  • Exactly .. thats Adams point and really Jeffersons point when he said "Entangling Alliances With None" The point is you can NEVER win an occupation it has NEVER been done. The bottom line is cause and effect. As long as we're over there will have more events like 911 and ones like that shooting in Texas.. YES I believe that is another form of blowback. Definately!

  • Hey you the war supporter, How much are they paying you for this propaganda. You roar like a lion how about you go to war. Wouldn't be wonderful if the kings fight their own wars and not sent other people and others children for their own greed of power and wealth wars. Lets see you go to war or maybe your children or your family. Since you want the war so much.

  • @ObeeLektro> Your comment is a clear example of a blind & ignorant liberal follower who knows nothing of war, pride and what it takes to ensure our freedoms. The "war supporter" you mentioned is SSgt. David Bellavia of NY. He was a platoon leader in the U.S Army Task Force 2-2, 2nd Battalion 1st Infantry/ Ramrods. Winner of both Bronze and Silver Stars, and Nominated for a Medal of Honor. Your comment is itself a poor attempt at anti-war propaganda, and utterly pathetic in its delivery. Out.

  • wow Adam Kokesh is so solid and fluent and stable and aware....I See True Warrior King Energy.

  • Kokesh versus Belluvia, in the cage, mano y mano, one man enters one man leaves.

  • the other fucking idiot! is fucking stupid!

  • osama bin laden is doing coke with bush and fucking whores somewhere right now

  • @Mongodelight

    D.U.M.B.A.S.S.

  • Man she is hot!!!

  • unbelievable

  • unbelievably hot!

  • Ya, I was thinking the same. Distracts from the issue, lol

  • Kokesh for Congress

  • I'm assuming you know this, but if you don't, you will enjoy hearing this. He is running for congress in New Mexico's 3rd district.

  • Belluvia= NEOCON ( probaby paid real well to be one too lol! It's amazing how far the elitists will go! )

Anyone who agrees with Belluvia and Bush's unconstitutional war is also a neocon and a disgrace to the Founders! ( not to mention a sheep and fucking MORON! )

  • Oh and by the way Belluvia - Al Queda and Bin Laden were both created by Robert Gates and our own CIA. The CIA Financed, trained and gave weapons to Bin Laden long time ago. Just thought I'd let you know because it's obvious you do not know that. They never told you about Blowback apparently. Always happy to enlighten you!

  • True Americans know and respect the constitution and know that if our leaders had followed the advice of the founders this country would be so much better

Adam Kokesh is the man! We need guys like him in Congress.

All the F'n Neocons and Chickenhawks who say negative things about Adam need to fuck themselves! And while they're at it ask themselves " Would they send THEIR SON to this war?" No huh? Well then why send someone elses?:-))

    NEOCONS SUCK!

    Go Adam Kokesh!

  • The Iraq War which was started over UN Resolution ( because of that reason alone) was and still is UNCONSTITUTIONAL! No treaty can ever supercede the US Constitution! It is an absolute impossibility!

No WMD's NO Ties to 911 Bush cooked the books if you will.. This war just like Afganastan and allll the other wars in the past century were all for the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX for profit. That is a fact. Google it and you'll see. Boeing all these corps benifit. It's disgusting!

  • "Commerce will all nations. Alliances with NONE should be our motto" Thomas Jefferson

  • Regardless of who is "right" or "wrong," this dude Adam was there in 2004, the war he fought in '04 is most certainly a different type of war being fought today in 2009! They both have opinions. I'd listen to the guy that just came back 4 weeks prior to the interview.

  • I like how Adam kept his cool and speak the truth no matter what.

  • Adam owned the other dude. Veterans for REAL freedom!!!!

  • His name is not "dude" you jackass... show some fuckin' respect.

  • haha. i think they should just go outside and see who is right. dont need to speculate on who would win tho.

  • Yup it's a no brainer.. Adam would crush him easily- no problem!

  • The Genocide in Iraq has been a disaster. Iraq had no WMD, no ties to Nine Eleven, no ties to Al Qaeda, Iraq was secular. Saddam was buried in a spider hole, not a threat. It wasn't for cheap oil, because the oil bubble climbed to 150 a barrel. I guess the 'war' was for Israel, but that backfired as well. It wasn't for freedom, because Bush/Cheney trashed the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights. What a mess. IVATW are my heros.

  • My grand-father who was a World War II veteran said the war in Iraq was a mistake. I think a lot more veterans and patriots like Adam need to come out of the closet. Many of our leaders who send our loved ones off to die and to kill were draft dodgers when it was their turn to go to war. I think it's kind of ironic, isn't it.

  • Adam A++++! Obama and McCain are puppets of the Council on Foreign Relations. The CFR has controlled the foreign policy of this country since created in 1921. They've infiltrated and "owned" the executive branch, and most aspects of our federal government and main stream media for 80+ years. Some familar CFR members: Both Obamas, McCain, Biden, Dodd, Pelosi, Huckabee, Giuliani, Barney Frank, Tom Brokaw, Angelina Jolie, Michael Eisner, Google, Bush Sr. Dick Cheney (former director).Wake up folks.

  • Kokesh for congress!

  • WE would VOTE for ADAM!!!!!

    M and V from WI

  • KEEP UP THE GOOD FIGHT! you need to run for office!

  • Thanks ADAM!! WE ARE MEMBERS of "END the FED" NOW!!!!!MAybe we'll see you in MN on 11/22? ThanksAgain!!! Keep up the good work!! MandV in WI

  • Great job, Adam. Keep up the good work, good luck next week.

  • Good interview, Keep up the good work Patriot.

  • Adam, you are one lovely veteran.

  • Good job adam...keep up the good work...

  • Oh, and nice work Adam. You constructed your rebuttals and arguments very well, and kept your cool during his interruptions.

  • America isn't going to apologize, in the next decade or so we're going to send them food, and about 50 years later apologize.

  • Yeah. And how do you apologize for killing 1.8 million people anyways? Did apologize for slavery? Howbout killing all the True Americans (in laymens terms Indians)? The only thing we could do to somewhat "make it right" and get rid of our guilt would be to pay for their schools, mosques, and cities to be re-built. We would also have to give money/supplies to thier police forces so they could keep thier cities safe without need of our troops.

  • You couldn't have said it better Adam,"End the Occupation: Respect Iraqi Sovereignty." Can America stand up and say WE'RE SORRY; WE MADE A MISTAKE. Of course not because there have been too many casualties for us to admit we were wrong. Oh, well there will just have to more blood shed, such is life. Did I say blood shed, oh I meant, The Surge is Working Iraqis are better off than they were under Saddam and should be grateful to America.

  • Word. We never apologize...oh here's some smallpox blankets.

  • I'm an extremely well paid defense contractor and I voted for Ron Paul.

Please take away the financial incentive for me to stay in this business by buying American made products. Please send me home back to Detroit where I belong.

  • The is a looooootttt of sugar in that guys Koolaid. Why is the world so clueless?? Correction, why are American's so clueless...

  • Hey, that's not very nice. I'm an American. Aren't you an American too? I don't take these kinds of face-off debates to seriously. That other guy, and the chick with the accent didn't sound like they believed the words that were coming out of their own mouths. Adam spoke with conviction, well done.

  • I am indeed an American and maybe what I said wasn't nice but ignorance that thick doesn't exactly give me warm and fuzzy feelings and my travels have taught me that there's no ignorance like American ignorance. Maybe I should be less critical and more "nice" about the way I feel. But I think my efforts to educate give me a bit of a right to be critical.

P.S.-I just read through some of the other coments. Can I get my niceness graded on the curve? GEEZ, cut me some slack here...

  • We are number 1 in ignorance! USA! USA!.....

  • 2 words State Schools. I.Q.'s of this country have been slipping since goverment stepped in. "No child left behind, head start, someones losing fucking ground here." George Carlin

  • Where's Jesse Ventura on todays ballot????????????

  • Excellent. Very inspiring handling of the buffoon's talking points. I must say that I approve. Keep up the great work!

    E

  • You should run for office.

  • Good job!

As I have said before.. bring them All home' if anything let the true enemies regroup, cluster, and become confident; then maybe later go in with some special forces to "assist". You are right, the occupation all these years has probably done more damage than anything, as are the Pakistan border crossings and the recent Syria strike. Like I heard someone say, under Saddam the Iraqis had oppression, but since the occupation they got Dantes Inferno. Enough is Enough.YouDESERVEmoreRESPECT

  • Nice keeping your cool! The other guy came off real bad.

    Plus, you made actual sense.

  • Owned, keep on keepin on brotha,

  • Well done Adam.

    Very professional.

Way to keep a cool head under fire!

    Keep up the great work!

  • Wow! He's cute!

  • That was great. You blasted away his talking points, which was all he had to work with.

  • This neo-con sycophant is an idiot. What changed in al Anbar is that we started paying Sunni insurgents to stop killing Marines and start killing al Qaeda. This policy, which sounds like something designed by Tony Soprano, is what McCain and his absent minded friend here call "victory."

When neo-cons quit using sloganeering and doublespeak, their "reason" melts away.

  • Adam: "The people we've paid off to do it."

Clown: "Paid off to do it, what are you talking about?"

Does this joker even read newspapers? From the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the New York Times to the Washington Post. If you read their reports about the "Sunni Awakening," they talk about how the reversal of course can be attributed in part to paying off former Sunni insurgents.

  • keep doing what you're doing, man.

a strong voice with unique insight that the movement needs.

  • Adam has strength and restrain. He is really knowledgeable on the subject. Way to go man!

  • Great job Adam

  • Way to go, Adam. You know your facts and you come off very impressive. If the minority of American people who think we're "fighting terrorists" over there will listen to anyone, it will be a bright, articulate soldier like yourself.

God bless you & continue your great work. We really appreciate it and will try to help any way we can.

  • We can blubbler and blame all we want but until Israel comes to terms with its neighbors, this conflict will persist in one way or another.

  • None of this addresses the real issue about the mideast conflict which, at its heart, is the arab-israeli conflict which stems from the occupation and brutalization of the Palestinian people at the hands of selfish Zionists.

  • well done adam

  • I will take up arms with Adam for the fight for liberty. Man has a head on his shoulders.

  • yes some have come home but they are still sending more to iraq as of 10/29/08 Thank you Adam for all that you do.

  • I love Adam!

  • the "Vet for Freedom" show here is no vet or vet for freedom. just look at him. this guy has corporate asshole written all over him.

  • @crow511> Here we go. Another fine example of ignorance on display. Your comment about the "Vet for Freedom" guy being a non-veteran "corporate asshole" clearly shows that you don't know shit and should not comment on subjects beyond your level of understanding. See my reply on ObeeLektro when you decide to insult a war hero and Medal of Honor Nominee. Clowns like you represent the substandard demographic of America's citizens; leeches of freedoms provided by the brave individuals you insult.

  • It is a joke that we are getting more honest reporting by Al Jazeera English than by the main stream media.

  • Did the VFF guy miss the tens of thousands of Iraqis protesting recently against the plans for the continued occupation by U.S forces into 2011?

  • would he care?

    watch?v=B2ruqKovKDM

  • Both candidates will keep troops in Iraq for years to come. This was planned long before 9/11. The conflict between russia and georgia was planned long ago. People need to start reading, ignore your propagandist media.

  • @eekdog2005 the only way this war will end is if the soldiers stop fighting. otherwise our government will keep the war so they can profit at the expense of the troops and the Iraqi people

  • way to hold your point.

    good interview.

  • adam looked like he was gonna punch the other dude, good job adam. peace.
