@gameshark93 for primo, kick less hard if its over spinning. for darkside, watch for the grip after it rotates heelflip and catch it before it over flips.

@PestVic I had the same problem for a long time. I fixed the problem by opening up my left shoulder so that i was in more of a forward-facing position (i'm regular), more like the shoulder position of a kickflip. Now i land them every time. It wasn't so much a commitment problem for me, just a balance problem. i.e. because my left shoulder was closed (facing more towards my body) i could do nothing but fall forward not matter how hard i tried to counteract. Cheers.

@Soonerboom14 thats just a foot position problem. just work at it and try to commit to bring your legs more together so they both land on the bolts. if you are the close you already have it. just try hard :)

why do u want ur back foot to be hanging off the edge?

@suckmydog7 it kicks the board like a frontside popshovit and lifts the heelside because you are pushing the opposite side down, (if that makes sense) so that when you kick your heel, it has something to push against which also straightens out the board and lets it grip to kick forward like you want it to. ill try and make a vid if you dont get what im saying haha i know its confusing :-P

Is the only difference between a kick flip and a heel flip is that the board spins the opposite direction?

@bertettojay yep. kinda the name too. a kickflip you kick your foot out. and it spins towards your back. a heelflip you are using your heel to kick it towards the front of your body. pretty cool stuff haha
