Saw the Devotional Tour in Denver in '93. When the huge curtains fell it was so incredibly dramatic. Best concert experience ever, but Dave's Jesus-look, heroin phase makes me sad for his pain.
I have seen the dvd version of the Devotional Tour--- and this side of the video really makes everything more "real"... the getting ready for the curtain to fall, and even the nervousness of our Dave that was so heavily addicted! We can take a sneak peak on what Dave did before that curtain went down ---well, for the most shows in '93????
I am a very big fun of Depeche Mode and Isaw them 6times in total but I thing this is the best live performance by far.the devotional tour,i saw them live in paris it was one of the best live i ever saw and believe me i saw a lot.
Dave is the most gorgeous, sweet, deep, insightful, romantic & sensual singer, his deep meaningful voice & moves just lift me, his wife is soooo lucky to have him. Depeche Mode are from England, but they're even more popular in Germany, where they're very popular. My favourite band forever, Dave is so beautiful, internally and externally.
