  • You can do this with practically ANY ammo.

  • will it work with .177? stupid question?

  • @deathstar445 Im sure it will. just might be a little harder to do cause they're smaller. and there are no stupid questions! Only stupid people.

  • genious.

  • nice vid will it work shooting a pigeon or rabbit from 50 to 60 yards

  • Why do you need a rifle to make frag pellets? Pretty sure you just need the pellet and saw.

  • Just Look Up "Jewlers Saw" on amazon to buy one.....Thumbs Up So People Can See!

  • Jewler. lol.

  • anyone else notice that a portion of his thumb is gone?

  • doesn´t this mess up the inner barrel ????

  • @flairbartender89 I don't think : the pellets are lead, where the barrel is hardened steel alloy. The lead doesn't even stand a chance at scratching the barrel. This is the same for copper (Full metal jacketed rounds)

  • @Rhinoch8 ok thanks, I´m still a little scared of fucking up my rifle but I´m gonna give it a go anyways. P.S., any suggestions as to if it´s a good idea to buy the crosman 1077 ? thanx

  • you can get a jewlers saw online for $12 just on google search "jewlers saw"

  • cuz u know, everyone has a jewlers saw layin around

  • just use a dremel with a thin cutting ring

  • this isnt really a frag round as much as a hollow point

  • where did you get that rifle and what type plz respond back i subsribed plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • @airsoftforlife6 walmart break barrel air rifle

  • that saw is a hand jig saw to make percice cuts. you can get them anywere

  • For those who want to try this but don't have the tools, use a knife that's razor sharp or a razor blade for box cutters, works well for me, i use them in the break barrel pellet guns, minimum expansion makes better for those who hunt squirrels and cook and eat them so you can find the pellet when you skin it. I hunt them and skin them and cook them, they are a nuisance around my property.

  • @sidetrackerpenguin are you thinking of a kraniouse saw?

  • hahahaha my dad dose jewling and fixes watches he has all the jewlers stuff /mechanics stuff i need for prettymuch anything :):) plus he dose mechanic work aswell for toyota soo yerrrXD

  • The problem with the explosive pellets is that It would be hard for it to detonate inside of the target. Unless the tip of the pellet is not painted with percussion primers, it wouldn't go off. Plus, it would most likely not go off inside the target because it would need a violent impact to set it off, which I doubt that flesh would cause.

  • i tried & it jammed my gun

  • Hey guys!

    Guys, listen.

    What if...

    Guys, are you listening?

What if we get the frag round and we put explosive in the tip?

  • this plus your explosive pellet tutorial equals?

  • how far do you shut with the pellets? the cut one

  • use a fine blade on a hand saw

  • do you have to use 22.cal or what

  • this would be cool combined with explosive pellets.

  • its also called a skill saw

  • *insert pellet to the knee joke*

  • a hacksaw would work just as good people

  • that is awesome but question... how much more of an effect would this have on a squirrel than a regular hollow point pellet

  • question what type of "rifel" do you use?

  • didnt work for me.

  • just uses a normal band saw and find the thin blade go to a hardware store it'll run you about 10-15 dollars for both maybe

  • what kind of gun is that?

  • this only looks like a good way to wreck your rifle, but still good idea;)

  • We're da fuck u get a jewelers saw!!!

  • @karma9511 i know... i can never find them

  • @KillerBearsAirGuns look for whats called a ''fret saw''

  • @KillerBearsAirGuns look for a 360 hacksaw blade. or fine bi-metal blades.

  • @KillerBearsAirGuns use a razor blade instead, it works just as well.

  • @KillerBearsAirGuns you can also buy a bone saw you know for amputations its literally a diamond string that can cut tthrough bone i cant remember the actualy name of the saw

  • @KillerBearsAirGuns Jewlers supply online Fret saw will work also and an Exato saw also

  • @karma9511

You can just use a razor instead- it's lead, very soft. Just try not to bend it out of shape.

  • @karma9511 a junior hacksaw will work

  • @karma9511 just off the internet

    or wallmart

  • @karma9511 hobby stores or art supply stores

  • @gardenstate761 well ive never seen a jeweler saw at hobby lobby

  • Comment removed

  • @karma9511 Ask a "Jew"eler.

  • @flylikeIdo1 haha

  • @karma9511 a coping saw wil work just fine too, plus you can find many types of blades to use with it as well, some finer then the one used in the video, plus they can be found in any hardware store.

  • @karma9511 they can also be called a coping saw

  • @karma9511 you can get one at home depot

  • @karma9511 Use a exacto knife/razor.

  • Im just watching because i wanna se stuff get shot :)

  • Combining the frag with the explosive...

Combining the frag, explosive and armour piercing...

That will be investigated immedeately I believe!

    Nice vids!

  • @theguywith1face Let me know how that goes lol.

  • @VS10Tutorials

Went pretty well but only had soft/medium wood to shoot at. Should get some similar clay to these demos fairly soon. Looking forward to seeing how they behave when they hit the clay!

  • @theguywith1face Nice you will have to make a tutorial for it :D

  • @VS10Tutorials Ha ha I don't even have a decent camera! Just combine the steps you see in the 3 seperate videos- Split pellet so it's a frag first. Then add your composition and allow to dry. Put a small was on top of that (Foil or card/paper). Glue BB on top of that. Simple :)

Still don't know how effective it will be against soft target. Idea was to drive through a bit more, deflagrate inside- forcing the split pellet to be driven apart further.

  • @theguywith1face

Yeah, hopefully it will work well :D

  • @yoyopiemonk you would know if you read descriptions :l

  • @KillerBearsAirGuns didnt i remove this? wtf well sorry

  • @yoyopiemonk hmmm, its removed now and np :s

  • I did this with a .22 pellet, but did it on the base, and cut it into as many pieces as I could. Maximum expanison.

  • Kind of a misnomer. These are more accurately called dumdum rounds.

  • @BigBananaMan Dum dum is the name given to hollow/soft point bullets designed to expand. This one is made to fragment - it hardly expanded, just look at the remnants.

I.E. fragmentation does not occur because of extreme expansion, but because it was designed to have structural failures, unlike soft points or hollow points.

In fact, the "regular" pellet is actually a "dum-dum" because it's HP.

  • @bf2lover42 Hmm, the way I've always heard it is that dumdum rounds are made by cutting an x into the front so it will open and split up although slang tends to be inaccurately applied or have no clear definition to begin with. I'll wik it to see what others say.

    *returns from wikipedia*

It looks like your information is more accurate so I stand corrected.

I do see references in google to x cut ball ammo referred to as dumdums though so X seems more like a field expedient manufacturing method.

  • Thanks, it helps me killing more instandly while im hunting, good vid!

  • ???

  • So it basicly spreads out wen u shoot it

  • @thebowlzack dont know

  • @KillerBearsAirGuns says lead in the video

  • @thebowlzack 0:47

    WATCH. THE. DAMN. VIDEO.

  • @ICETEEBAG calm your nuts buddy, i missed it... a 2 second message out of a 2:21 video is easy to miss.

and your enthusiasm....that of a 12 year olds.

  • @thebowlzack use ur eyes 0:51 ;)

  • @s8a8v8a8n shut up, i have already had like 8 replies all saying the same thing. and to that i respond: its not hard to miss a 2 second message in a 2:21 video.

  • @s8a8v8a8n shut up, i have already had like 8 replies all saying the same thing. and to that i respond: its not hard to miss a 2 second message in a 2:21 video.

  • @thebowlzack They are made of lead. However this will work with alloy.

  • @thebowlzack lead

  • I use a razor blade instead of the saw.

  • What is the music?

  • @uberdood555 dont know

  • @KillerBearsAirGuns Will it work with a normal hacksaw

  • @uberdood555 terrible

  • @shortthrow50 Very true.

  • Thanks!!!!!! i shot a lot of birds with this ammo love it

  • @MrSHARP27 Glad you like it :)

  • @MrSHARP27 U do eat the birds u kill right?

  • Great video dude! However most people don't have jewelers saw's just lying around. A small straight razor or box cutter blade will do just fine If you press down on the top of the pellet. By the way, are there any problems with accuracy/barrel damage when using deformed pellets like this?

  • @player18792 think there could be some small accuracy problems and maybe very little barrel damage but would %100 know

  • @player18792

probably not since pellets are made out of lead a very soft metal and a soft metal will probably not harm a steel barrel lol

  • Anyone else make exploding fragmenting tracer rounds?

  • @voldemortism hmm....dont think so

  • will flat nose pellets work?

  • @Xbox360SKIDS007 think it should
