Plus its been modified beyond recognition which its why the name is different (that and all US jets have a letter that designates purpose e.g. T for trainer). That's typical noise coming off the engine fan section, and you can hear that it fluctuates with the engine RPM ...A more blatant example would be what you hear from the C-5 Galaxy TF39's at takeoff.
For some reason this video help me better understand naval aviation and airodinamics ive wanted to be a navy pilot all my life and this just interests me more

As soon as the plane hits the deck, the pilot will push the engines to full power, instead of slowing down, to bring the plane to a stop. This may seem counterintuitive, but if the tailhook doesn't catch any of the arresting wires, the plane needs to be moving fast enough to take off again and come around for another pass.Hope that helps.Landing on a flight deck is one of the most difficult things a Navy Pilot will ever do.

My dad's a naval aviator too, used to fly S-3's but now fly's E-2's, my test scores weren't high enough to be an aviator but, can still be an NFO :D
