This game had so much potential, but the frustrating combat, awful level design (remember that statue part in the 4th level?), totally unfair moments (played through hard mode which was a hair-whitening experience) & a camera that nauseated me at times (which is a 1st for a 3rd person game) made it really unbearable. Even the constant panty shots couldn't save that game, which leads me to that awful seducing move which only worked like once out of 5 times and got Kurenai's fine ass kicked for it

This game has its own unique charm, and once you build up a certain "tolerance" for it, it's actually pretty fun. You just have to be willing to play the game within its own context instead of comparing it to something else.

If you give the game a chance, the storyline actually gets pretty epic during the final few stages. Unfortunately, you get absolutely nothing for beating the game. No stage select, no alternate costumes, no secret characters, nothing. Disappointing.

I played this game a long time ago , and it sucked . There were so many glitches in the game that i had returned it back for a refund on the third day. how did this game get a pass is beyond me. didn't the test developers notice all the glitches in the game? maybe this game was rush out too fast.

I agree. I bought this looking for a Tenchu clone but this game was horrible. I stopped playing after the first level. I gave it to a friend for free and he gave it back after playing the first level he hated it so much.

I really enjoyed this game, but got stuck trying to rescue Akemi from a giant snake - she kept dying from poison before I could save her. Not an easy game, but a lot of fun. ^_^

I bought this game only having read the synopsis on the back and looking at the pics. Overall, I think it's not a bad game. Nothing in it is "great!" but it's not bad for what it is (pretty cheap from publishers I've never heard of) I do agree that they shove her underwear in your face too much, and her heaving chest might have been a bit too much for when she was standing perfectly still.  The camera and control are wonky but could've been worse. I hope they do a 2 cuz they left us hanging.

It's a very stylish game at some points, and you gotta admire this trailor. But however, it's a damn shame the game is so underdeveloped. The camera is broken, the game shows her black panties way too often, and the enemy AI is just dumb as a rock.

I would really like to see a Red Ninja 2 and have them put some serious time and effort into making it a great game, because this title has potential.

It's actually suppose to do that, because this wasn't the smartest age, and she's suppose to be slutty, so she can distract guards. Plus, the Kimono is so small that is shows her panties for two reasons. It's a memento of her past, and it allows a LOT of movement.

knee down and walk to the righ. wait for the guard to turn around and walk away. Aim yout blowgun at his head take him out. then kneel toward an opening up the side the second opening is a good one. aim for his head the guy seated in the front. hope your ready because here comes a duel to the end. The guy can change into 3 guys and throw spider web at you. I ran in circles and occasionally hit him untill he died.

Not sure what you mean. On one hand PS3 doesn't have very many good games, on the other it plays almost all PS1 & PS2 games (glitchy but playable). There is no other game like Tenchu, but unfortunately the lack of competition has made the team become complacent and it's been showing. From Software is driving the series into the ground.

1st destroy the lightning stones. if you did thad you can hit here untill she climbs in the tree. you have to trow your knife to it en pull it down. then she climbs to the top of a tree. you'll have to climb in a tree and pull here some how down with you knife.

yup tenchu is alot more fun i am a ninja fan but this red ninja was somting like doa attract the guy and somhow sadistic too u can hang the prey like predator did to their prey that was a good part and the boss is quite a challenge,change the view of the screen u can play her more easy
