Bensonhurst representin'!!! My first place was on Avenue P & West 8th Street and then I moved back and forth from my borough to Queens. I lived in different places within those 2 boroughs. Brooklyn is now different then a decade ago and wish it could come back into normal for once!!!
I was born and raise in Williamsburg Brooklyn (Lindsay Project). I'm now living in Chicago and miss Williamsburg greatly. Everytime I go there, I have to visit Graham Ave (and shop at Fat Albert). I have great childhood memories there (P.S.250 & I.S.318). I love Williamsburg. My dream is to go back to live there. Good Jobs are so hard to find though. That's why I left NY. :(
Why would you ever want to go back to Williamsburg, there's no one normal left there anymore. The whole neighborhood is full of flakes, just like Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, etc. They've succeeded into turning Brooklyn into their private yup playground.
THANKS!!!!! I miss my hometown soooooo much. Would love to move back but so hard with three kids and a husband with a great job in south Florida. Would do anything to live back there. Maybe will go back once my kids grow. It has so much of my life there.
