I forget what the statute is called offhand but there exists a rule that congress can't legally pass a law that only applies to a single entity, which is why whatever ACORN stripping funding law they passed won't pass muster if challenged in court. Fox aired the story as an actual murder, without checking if the husband was alive. He was, the police had checked and could have told them so

The only guideline that FOX has is to hit the Democrats, Liberals, Atheists, Progressives, anybody who is not hard rightwing, as often and hard as possible.

Republicans only care about fraud and corruption in the government when someone with a (D) next to their name does it or if someone trying to help working class Americans does it. Fraud that helps the interests of the wealthy or politicians with an (R) next to their name is perfectly fine in their book.
