@Ecw4Lyfe Yes, just before I recorded the last part of this video (about 30 min after the first part) it went warned, but we didn't get anything more than some rotation. I'm 100% certain that this same storm produced at least one tornado either across the Hudson River from us, or over into CT.
@IrishBarFight Wow, crazy shit. You captured some cool lighting strikes sucks that houses had to be in the way but none the less, still great lightning footage. Also the clouds look insane/scary looking at the same time.
@jenimarie69 of course it was dark. It was close to sunset, and the clouds themselves blocked nearly all of the light. What you see is what I, myself, saw...sans camera.

I have never seen such insanely intense colors with a tornado. Usually you have the green pea color on the side the tornado is traveling to and the orange tint behind it... This just looks like Hell on earth.. oh crap 6:58 Thats a finger cloud!!! Here comes the tornado.

I remember i was in my basement with my whole family watching the weather channel. didnt it touch down near woodstock? i kinda remember that. i live near pearl st.
I bet! Its not like us New Yorkers are used to these kinds of storms like people that live in a lot of mid-western states. I was a mixture of terrified and fascinated when this storm hit.
