@Cooley360 some of them such as the bus at 0:25 had the logo/symbol of a company. That would be using their company's image without permission. Also, some are just imbedded through the video so no one else can claim it's their work.

This is a fantastic tribute! I personally only liked a few movies that came out in 2008. Most of them, in my opinion, seemed poorly constructed and were not well thought out. It had nothing to do with the actors or the special effects(I love special effects!), but it was like writers just spit out scripts without any coherence or substance to them at all. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Wanted, and Tropic Thunder were probably my faves of 2008.

There Will Be Blood was released in January worldwide, December for America. Taken was released worldwide in 2008, and 2009 in America.

ok well then you were right for adding "Taken" but "There Will be Blood" is still considered a 2007 movie, the first time it is shown in a theatre no matter where it is, is the year of the films release, like for instance "Superman II" is considered a 1980 movie because it was shown in England first, it didn't make it to the U,S. until 1981, "There Will Be Blood' was only shown in L.A. and New York in 2007 but that still counts!..great video though!

If you don't believe me look it up on Wickepedia, it says it is a 2007 film, it did not show in my area until 2008 also, but it's still a 2007 film, just like "The Wrestler" did not show where I live until Febuary of 2009 but it is still a 2008 film because it played in New York and Los Angeles, but hey you are extremely talented , and that does not take away from the quality of your video!
