Legendia is bade because of its Indignation spell. It looks like Lightning.

Plus, the Tales of Series don't have a ridiculously impossible difficulty curve.

Also, just to make a point, if something doesn't make sense in a video game, my friend and I will usually point it out and say that "they can't do that because they're not Final Fantasy". Nonsense is so apparent, that it's finally just been accepted.

I also find the Tales of Series impressive because it simultaneously has the best and worst games ever. (Tales of Symphonia is the best, Legendia is utter shite.)

the best FF game i ever played is FF crisis core,but too many repetitive missions,the storyline is at the best.

I wish that the Namco could do some advertising and localize TOV PS3(so i can buy PS3 slim for it and MGS4,UC2,etc)

@linkbattler I think the issue with Legendia was, aside from the horrendous voice acting and terrible battle system (someone's in front of you? Too F($&*@ bad, now you can't hit the monster), that it just didn't have the level of quality fans had come to expect. I played it for the first time after beating Abyss, and comparing Abyss to Legendia is like comparing Paper Mario to E.T.

Hmm. Well, just to add to the discussion that took place already, The tales of games are better than Final Fantasy could ever hope to be. There are more Final Fantasy games, marketed better, but the Tales of Series simply has better storylines and more likeable characters. The only time Final Fantasy has likeable characters (other than Reno and Auron) is when it is no longer Final Fantasy, but Kingdom Hearts. The Tales of Series makes you react to the characters like they're actual people.

i might be wrong but i think it plays right before the fight with Yggdrasil in the Tower of Salvation (during the scene where Yggdrasil tries to revive Martel) (at least this is where the "heroic" version of Symphonia Suite plays)

Because Final Fantasy is massively over rated RPG series that fails in comparison to the Tales series, and other RPG's. (Golden Sun and EarthBound, as examples.)

I'm sorry but the Tales of Symphonia storyline is the best imo. I agree with xKingTakashix. Final Fantasy fails comparing to the Tales series, specially Tales of Symphonia.

I have to very much disagree with both you and Takashi. I think that the Final Fantasy games are significantly more renowned for a reason. Although the Tales series is fantastic, don't get me wrong, I don't think it can quite stand toe to toe with the gaming giant that is Final Fantasy.

Actually, the Tales series does have a lot of games in it. I agree with you that the Final Fantasy series are fun games, although I really only liked the early ones but as i said, imo I don't like it as much as the Tales series. I supposed it doesn't really 'fail' in comparison to Tales, but the later ones aren't too fun for me.
