i cant wait until this game comes out. i think the co-op is a great idea it also makes the game funny. i mean watching your teamate run past you screaming like a little girl being follwed by zombies. it dosent get any better. except when they chase after you.

The Wii was also never made to handle the gameplay mechanics that RE5 will utilise. If they did port it to Wii the gameplay would be a serious downgrade from what is available in the PS3 and 360 versions.

The games lost alot of its original character over the years. Resident Evil 1 + 2 are my faves because of the amount of puzzles, different endings and genuinely 'scary' atmosphere. This seems more like a blaster

Looks great.. Hope they didn't stay too inline with resi 4.. I'd like to see a little more variety with the zombies.. I've noticed that they're VERY similar, down to the "crossbow guy" and all.. Maybe they're keeping the other enemies a secret..

Exactly! I fear it will be RE4 only titled RE5, we have the same chainsaw dudes, the aliens coming out of the head and crossbow wielders. I love this series, but we've seen that before. EXCELLENT the first time, but we need newer, fresher enemies. I hope I can change my comment after actually playing the game, but so far I don't see anything that different. I know they can't be out of ideas after RE4.
