If you own a store and spend money on your owns store you do not increase your own revenue because said money is derived from the goods that are sold at your store. This analogy would only work if you have another source of income.

Well, not trying to be confrontational here, but you're wrong. My family is a middle class family. I don't have a ton of money. We have our share of problems. We're not struggling as much as the people in this video, you're probably right about that. But I have struggled with bills these last few years with high gas, etc. I'm not excluded.

The point I was simply making is that Obama just harps on the fact that people are struggling, trying to people as if he's going to make it all better.

Obama knows what it is like to be poor, to be without a father, to have to work hard for achievement and he has not forgotten where he came from.
