guys quick question for this game its my first playthrough who should i recruit for my party? message as soon as possible

@DigitalDjYugi All of the characters are good, I guess it comes down to which two you like the most.

I picked Chelsea & Lilith, but to get Lilith I had to use a glitch, because she is normally not recruitable.

The glitch was fixed when they released the English version, so you'd need a gameshark to get her.

Hmm, I guess I would recommend Chelsea & Mary to you.

You can only pick two optional characters, in addition to the four Swordian Masters.

I think Chelsea & Mary are good.

@Jeffrey6978 whos the fourth swordian master besides Stahn, Rutee and Philia? cause i looked at a walkthrough and it says at some point in the game Leon betrays you

How 2 switch the chactor u use in battle? If any one knows PLEASE tell me im trying practicly everything and i cant seem 2 switch it T_T ive been useing stan so far hes boring me though Y_Y!

Equip a Channeling on the character in slot 2, then push select on controller 2 in battle to set that character to manual, then push select on controller 1 in battle to set Stan to auto. (There is no way to take Stan out of slot 1, so you'll have to use controller 1 for when you're not in battles, and controller 2 when you are.)

Is better than Phantasia. As for Symphonia, it's on the same level of masterpiece. So it's really hard to decide which is better.

However, it should be understood that every game in the "Tales of" series is very good. Amazing series, seriously.

In the English version it is.

In the Japanese version it's spelled "Lion", but it's pronounced the same as Leon.

That's wierd. When I play on it with ePSXe, like...there aren't any voiceovers. Just 'HA!' etc. It's wierd o_o

You need the right plugins i think. Mines has voiceovers.

Most of the enemys in this game are too easy, this is probably the easiest Tales game.

But in the PS2 remake they fix that problem, Lion is actually pretty hard in that game, it's one of the harder Tales games.

Finally! I found a video of Leon in the ps1 version! I've been looking for one way before the remake was even announced. To bad you destroy him. I was hoping that you would make the battle look good. XD

wow, he's so simple in the original compared to the remake. He moves around too fast in the memake.

Yeah, thats the one thing I didn't like about the PS1 version, everything is too easy, and there are no difficulty modes.. but other than that the game is awesome.
