I like very much the typical 50´s rock´n´roll: Elvis, Jerry Lee, Chuck Berry, Shakin´ Stevens, Brian Setzer, Little Richard ect. ect.

BUT I also like THIS kind of rock music. ;o)

I've been an Elvis fan for 40 years - his voice and vocal range IMHO are unsurpassed. The original recordings pf his early songs were groundbreaking - that said, I love what you've done with these songs - it's nothing more than the Presley Foundation have been doing for years - "A Little Less Conversation" - "Guitar Man" have been re-worked - what not "Mean Woman Blues"?

It gives a new perspective to what is, when all the chatter has subsided, still excellent music - keep it up I say!!!

The version of Bossa Nova Baby is great...everything else from this series sounds the same - kind of like canned vegetables, all the vegies taste the same... Bossa Nova is "hit" material though - I'm not an expert, but I've been in the Pop music business since the summer of 1967.

This idea wasn't the product of corporate minds sitting around brainstorming ways to generate more revenue. After performing Elvis' songs for 10 years and seeing how his music affects people, I often thought how unfortunate it was that he would never again release a new song. This is my attempt to give people something new from Elvis - More Specifically the YOUNG Elvis, who was cutting edge in his time. What if he never dared to "reimagine" songs like 'That's Alright" or "Hound Dog".
