@orangekneepads It depends on where you're going and stuff. Some trips have more home stays than others. I'm going on the Europeon Odyssey trip this summer & I think we have a couple of home stays. Other times you'll stay in a hotel. It just depends on where you are.

I am going to England, France, Belguim, The Netherlands, Whales, and Ireland this summer for People to People. And, like you, I want to raise the money myself. Unlike you, I didn't have a grandfather who offered to pay for the whole shabang. I only have 20 kids in my whole school, so that limits my oppertunitys also.

@elish80 I found out that we're actually going to Greece first rather thatn France so that means we're leaving from France & that changes the time. So I get a 30 hour birthday instead. Oh well, it's still an extended birthday! I have music on my phone but my dad is going to let me use his old phone when I go over seas because my phone can't do a Euopean plan, but his old phone can. So I'll have to find some source of music too. If I don't, I think I'll be bored to death.

I was accepted, and was asked to go to the European odyssey- france, Italy, and Greece. It has been my dreams ever since I was a little girl to go to France & Italy. But to go to those two places, and go to Greece also? It would be the best thing that has ever happened to me! I'm 12, almost 13 and just entered into the 7th grade. Thanks!!. I really hope I get to go, and to all of those who also want to go, I wish you well with getting the money!! :)
