Yeah, it had been awhile since I played ffiv when I said this. I got Edward and Edgar from ffvi mixed, they just sound so much alike. But I finally beat the DS ffiv twice now. Dark bahamut was...easyer than he should have been. I meen all I did was set commands accordingly and auto-battle his ass.

FF5 Neo Exdeath was the hardest FF Boss. Obviously your refering to the north american FF5 relese on SNES, it was toned down ALOT more than the GBA version, play that, and tell me whos harder.

i use kain alot, since he's one of my favorite FF characters...

i used "jump" everytime the count got to 3, then youll land right after bahamut uses "megaflare" or "gigaflare" (i forgot which...)

well, compared to IV, it might have been a little bad, but i personally like V more than IV, since i thought IV was a little hard.

maybe people thought V was worse than IV because V has a lower difficulty than IV.

I WANT FFV!!! And my personal opinion, but I think FFV might have been harder, becuase the final boss was actually hard, and also Shinryuu and Omega as optional bosses. But they are both great games that deserve remakes ;D

FFV was the first FF i ever played.... since my dad had the SNES, i was able to start playing pretty quickly.

the bosses were pretty challenging, compared to the other FFs ive played, especially (like you mentioned) shinryuu and omega.

ive beaten both the original FFV and the remade version for the GBA, but i thought they were both good x3

yeah, the difficulty is set pretty low compared to other FFs, but i think it was pretty awsome with the graphics and the job change system.

FFV was my favorite of ALL the FFs. I agree, terribly underrated. I love the classes. I wish more FFs had them.

Also, who is that red haired girl? I only played this in SNES, and I don't remember anyone but Rydia, Rosa, Edge, Cecil, Kain, and FuSoYa at the moon.

i started playing FFV when i was in like first grade, but i still remember all the thrill i had ^^

the "red haired girl" is Cecil, with berserk.

i think.

berserk makes the character red, so i guess that confused you.

it confused me the first time too XP

I got FFIII... Want it? I don't really like it. I also hope FFV and FFVI come out on DS too... It's not real likely, though... By the time they get around to it, Nintendo will have already brought out their next handheld system... I haven't heard anything on one yet, but it's possible on both ends... On one... It may come out on the next-gen handheld... or it could still come out on the DS...

i think cecil has the avenger equipped, which basically comes with auto-berserk, berserk i guess gives you a red hue. It looks like the same thing happens to edge mid-way through the battle

berserk does give the red hue. and since you almost always picked 'attack' for cecil anyways, it fits well.

Thats because in the DS version Mega Flare ignores reflect status.

The reason behind that is because the pierce reflect decant requires to kill bahamut first.

So unless you want the party to die its best to kill bahamut before mega flare triggers even once.

In SNES version, I defeat Bahamut with reflect... Without reflect is impossible
