@Recovery82 this is gonna sound ghetto but its always worked for m, even when writing my own stuff. Learn "simple man" by Lynyrd Skynyrd, the real way, the picking way, get that down, and aply tht picking pattern to any song or combo of chords you use. it seems to work as long as you stick with the same tempo
