get a numark mixer lesser price but solid build...pretty decent crossfader no leaking etc...and stick to anything pioneer for the cdj's there all good, just the cheaper ones are missing the frills but will get you through when ur a beginner

Most if not all legit DJ's purchase their music. If you don't do that you're gonna be spinning wack quality shit that will never get you a night in the club. Spin with those for some house parties, get paid, make some gwap and purchase some shit from a DJ pool and land some gigs. Real.

Shy, you're one of the few DJs that use two sets of decks that are not considered "industry standard". You use Numark turntables and Denon CD turntables. I'm surprised you aren't using Technics and CDJ1000s. As long as it works for you thats all that matters. Play on what you're comfortable with. Nice skills either way.

"industry standard" is a marketing term made up to take advantage of new people or fools such as yourself. to get you to spend 3 times as much on technics 1200's when a pair of stanton str8 8's actually out preforms them at a fraction of the cost. A good dj can adapt to any set up no matter how crappy. yes, you should have a decent set, however 1200's are "the standard" why? they arent the best, but are the most expensive. think about it. i have played records since i was 5 so thats 21 years.

yo use what ever turntable they have in the club or u bring ur own

all clubs have industry standard and come with a serato scratch box u can eather use there cd players or bring ur own turntables
