@iErin98 I don't think it's even possible to make the books into a movie. The writers would have to leave out sooo much of the story to make it fit into movies, even if there were 6 movies like with Star Wars it would still not be enough screen time to capture the story the way it should be. I'm glad it was made a TV show, especially one with such amazing sets! I think the series looks much better than many movies in quality!

I think Drogo was nothing but a repulsive and stupid caveman oaf who should have been imprisoned for all the raping and murdering he did & allowed and I don't even like the show and yet...

@AWickedMind I agree he was not the nicest guy, but you could say very similar things about many men in Westeros, where most of the story takes place. If you read the book (I don't know if you did) it becomes even clearer that Drogo is not simply a stupid barbarian. He does what is expected of him as Khal of a great Khalasar, yet to me seems to be much more than a dumb brute. It shows in the way he cares about Dany. Damn, he even learns her language in parts!
