Actually I am less pessimistic about the future of these people.  With the development of tourism, many young people will return. They will make a good living promoting their culture and performing the dance and songs to tourists. I`ve seen this in other parts of China.

It is Dong, we recorded the songs in Dimen. The old lady who sings the solo song towards the end is photographed while carrying the screen for paper making ("and when these masters of their crafts depart")
