1 million refugees from Swat and it's the International Red Cross(Christian Aid org.) thats taking responsibility for their care. Wheres the Red Cresent, and why are Muslims afraid of the Taliban? I thought the Taliban were the heros killing the Crusaders in Afghanistan and that if The USA just got out everything would be fine in the region. Those are Muslims running for their lives from deeply religious Muslims. Maybe the west isnt so bad.

The Taliban is probably outnumbered and outgunned but the real question is, how popular is the Taliban in Swat? And will the Pakistani military take back the entire region or just fight them to a standstill and let them keep Swat?

If the Taliban do somehow manage to defeat Pakistan and storm Islamabad, it'll be interesting to see how India reacts to Taliban controlled nukes.

Taliban are extremely good in gureilla tactics. Weapons are coming from India...its a mountainous urban area very very difficult to fight!
